"Are you awake?"
My eyes open as I hear those words.
My lips curl up into a smile as my eyes lay their sught upon a beautiful woman with brown hair and pale skin and eyes glowing as brightly as the sole star during a moonless night.
"Yes, I am." I replied
"Well you better get up quick, today's an important day, remember?." she said while stroking my hair
"Yes, but I just can't seem to build the motivation required to get out of bed with a beautiful women just to stand in front of a bunch of old farts." I said while burrowing my head deeper into her chest.
"Hey! Don't say that. If it wasn't for Mr. Gilbert we wouldn't have this beautiful home and this bed u are currently in." She said while pouting
"I know, I know" I chuckled,
"I was just kidding.... But I really could use some motivation."
" You little manchild." she said while smiling towards me.
Yes I am I thought to myself as I brought my lips closer to her.
And just as we kissed....
I woke up.
I remembered that I was alone.
Alone in this forest.
With just the fire in front of me to keep me warm and to remind me of the indescribable feeling of cold and emptiness inside me.
But this will pass.
For I will succeed.
No matter the cost.
