"The scene can wait." Bai Nuanxi, clearly not in the mood, left with Zhao Tingting, not wanting to get further entangled with Song Feifei.
"What were you trying to tell me earlier?" Bai Nuanxi eagerly asked as soon as they stepped outside.
"There's surveillance footage. We should check it out; we can't just take her word for it," Zhao Tingting said, her tone sharp. "I don't buy a word of what she said. This is a film set, and not many people would have access to your phone. Those busy with their roles don't have time to be running around stealing phones. So her story of 'picking it up for safekeeping' sounds like a joke."
Bai Nuanxi sighed in agreement, a bitter smile playing on her lips. "Song Feifei gives me a strange feeling."
"Strange? How so?" Zhao Tingting hadn't noticed anything too odd, focusing more on the girl's behavior.
