In this gloomy weather; the wind is cold and it's raining really hard, it sounds like stones falling from the sky.
But there was this weird beeping sound I keep hearing for a while now, it beeps and stops then continues, I keep hearing it inside this darkness; I was floating in this void for...
How many hours? I don't know....
When suddenly; the beep make this continues sound "Beeeeeeeeep". I have no idead what's happening outside, i didn't even know what happened to me and what's the reason I'm stuck in this void.
Suddenly...
The darkness surrounding me had turned into light, it was so bright yet so plain to look at; it felt a like I'm inside a room that is painted with white color.
Yet the continuous beep started to sound even more louder and louder.
When suddenly....
I quickly opened my eyes; I was staring at the ceiling, the room was so dark. When I realized, I was in the hospital; lying on the bed with a oxygen mask on my face.
"W-what happened?" I wondered to myself, my voice sounded so tired.
I sat up from the bed and took off the oxygen mask, I was so confused on how the hell I got in this hospital. Trying to remember what happened only makes my head hurt.
I placed my hand on my forehead, trying to recall what happened but failed.
"Arghh... My head hurts" I said, groaning in pain.
Suddenly, the door behind me opened as a nurse walked in the room.
"You are awake now!" Says the nurse, smiling.
The nurse noticed me holding my head and groaning in pain. "Ah, ah, ah you have to rest for now, that accident caused you to have an immense pain in your head." The nurse said in a caring tone as she gently lie me down on the bed.
"What the hell happened?" I asked, I'm still groaning from the pain in my head.
"You were hit a by a car, the sudden impact cause you to fall really hard and hitting your head on the ground, which also a cause of your immense head pain." The nurse explained.
"I see, how long will I stay here?" I asked as i looked at the nurse.
"Well your injuries were treated fine, hmm... When your head pain healed." She explained, smiling warmly.
Before the nurse leave, she went back to me handing me a strange necklace. "Right! You've dropped this by the way, I've decided to give it to you after you wake up. That's a beautiful necklace you got there." Says the nurse.
I confusedly took the necklace and stare at it, the nurse had finally left the room as she closed the door. "What is this thing?" I asked myself, confused.
"Maybe the person who was driving the car had dropped this."
Without hesitation I wore the necklace before lying down the bed again. I was staring at the ceiling again trying to remember what happened, but it always fail.
"I'll just *yawns* deal with this tomorrow, thinking about it would make my head hurt even more." I said as I cover myself with the blanket before going back to sleep again.
---The next day---
I was finally discharged from the hospital; firstly, I was worried about the bill but they said the person who hit me had finally paid the bill.
Well there's still good people in this world, I was walking alone on the bridge that leads a shortcut to my apartment, when out of the sudden, my necklace glowed.
I stopped walking.
"Whoa?!" I yelled in surprise. "W-what the, this necklace has cool features?!"
I stared at the necklace for a bit and started walking, after leaving the spot where it glowed, it stopped.
"H-huh?"
I tried shaking the Necklace, knocking it; even talking to it, but it seems some of this method is not good.
I tried walking around the bridge but nothing happened, but when I went back to the spot where it glowed; well yeah, what a surprise, it glowed again.
"Maybe it's the light?" Nope it wasn't.
I tried walking around at the spot where it glowed, and it still glowing. I was so confused how this happened; i tried lifting it in the air but I wasn't moving away at the spot; surprisingly, it is still glowing.
Due to confusion, I went to take a good view at the river under the bridge, resting my arms on the railway as I stare at the glowing Necklace.
I sighed. "There's no point figuring it out." I said as I bent down my head and looked at waters at the river.
Suddenly....
The reflection of the water shows a woman standing at the top of the bridge; I was surprised, when I knew she was attempting to jump.
I didn't noticed her since the top of the bridge is covered, so I tried to confront her.
"H-hey! What the hell are you doing there?!" I yelled.
"Wha-? H-how did you find me?" The girl asked in confusion, her voice is a little shaky.
"The reflection of the water, I can literally see you up there!" I've thought for a bit on how the hell did she get there, is there a ladder?
"Oh she went from the arches, that's a good balance."
I tried to climb from the arches, until i saw her looking so stressed and tired, i slowly stood over the metal.
"Whatever that comes to your mind, don't even fucking do it." I said in a serious tone, confronting the girl.
As i got closer to her, the necklace glows even more brighter and brighter.
I looked at the necklace in confusion, then looked at her again; I took a big gulp, and slowly walk towards her.
"H-hey, don't even dare. You have so much to live for." I said to her, my voice became shaky too.
"I think it's too late for me, Mister." She looked at me with those tired eyes, her eyes telling how tired she is.
"D-don't say that okay? Everyone can still make a change. J-just don't even try jumping from there! Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem." I took a big gulp. "Y-you understand? Once you jump from there, it's game over!"
The woman was a little hesitant, deciding whether to listen to me or just jump off the bridge.
"You don't wanna die filled with regrets!" I said to her, and took a deep breath "we can talk about it, y'know?"
Her tears began running down her cheeks as she speaks in a shaky tone. "I have no job and my husband cheated on me; with my best friend."
She continued crying. "What else can I do now? I have no one." She wiped her tears.
"You have your parents that can help you, your other friends that can help you and... I know I'm a total stranger but I can help you!" I said, trying to convince her not to jump.
"Parents?" She asked.
"Yeah! Your Mom and your dad-"
"I don't have a dad." She said, straightly.
"Oh... I'm sorry about that, but that doesn't mean you'd give up right? He watches you up there." I pointed at the sky.
"He's not dead, he left me." She began crying even more louder.
"N-no!!"
SHIT! I'M ONLY MAKING THINGS WORST!
"I know it's hard for you, and I feel you! But..." I don't know what to say anymore. "I-can help you... In everything i can! J-just don't jump off the bridge and you're gonna be fine."
Finally...
The woman had finally moved away from the edge of the bridge, it seems she's convinced.
"You mean it?" She asked, wiping her tears.
"I-i mean it! L-let's just go somewhere more safe than this place okay?" I asked, calmly.
Later we went down on the top of bridge and talk things out, it took us hours to talk when it's finally getting late.
"Well it seems it's getting late now." I said, looking at my phone time.
"Y-yeah it is..." She replied.
"It was nice meeting you by the way, and glad we exchanged numbers, in case you want someone to talk to, just one click and I'll answer." I said, smiling slightly.
"T-thank you... By the way I haven't gotten your name." She asked, smiling.
"Yellow, j-just yellow."
"I'm Louis, nice to meet you."
"And nice to meet you to Louis, d-do you want a hug?" I asked, with a warm smile.
"Yeah, I actually needed one."
We hugged each other, letting her pain out by hugging and embracing each other, before pulling away; i noticed the locket glowed brighter as a white some kind of entity emerged out of Louis and being consumed by the necklace, left me shocked.
"Hm? Are you okay Yellow?" She asked, concerned.
"Y-yeah, I-I just, never felt a hug this strong before haha." I chuckled it off as I scratch the back off my head.
W-what is this feeling?
"Well see you next time, Yellow." She said before finally walking away, leaving me alone at the bridge.
Tears ran down my cheeks and I began crying.
"W-what just happened?" My voice cracked as i tried to speak through my tears.
