When Neil woke up, he felt the warm sunlight hitting his tiny face. As he looked around with curious eyes, he found himself in a very spacious room, decorated with luxurious furniture and warm colors. In the corner of the room, he saw his mother, Celia, sitting and reading a book, while his father, Carlos, entered the room. They were speaking in a strange language that he couldn't understand.
Suddenly, Neil remembered the skill he had received on the first day of his life, the **"Universal Language"** skill. He went to his inventory and activated the **"Absorb"** button. In an instant, as if in the blink of an eye, Neil could understand everything happening around him.
He began listening to the conversation between his parents as Carlos spoke with concern, "You should rest a little, Celia."
Celia responded with a gentle smile, "I'm not feeling tired, but when will you go to the border again?"
Carlos replied in a calm voice, with a hint of sadness, "I'll be going for a month this time."
The parents then noticed that their son was awake, so they smiled at him and played with him a bit. After a short while, Carlos left to begin his preparations, while Celia stayed with Neil.
As Celia was playing with Neil, she noticed him looking at the book she was holding with bright, curious eyes. She joked, "Neil, do you want me to read to you from this book?" Even though Neil didn't make a sound, his bright eyes were enough of an answer.
Celia smiled gently and began reading aloud, knowing that he was just a baby only a day old, but she enjoyed sharing that moment with him. She started reading:
"Since ancient times, there were gods and demons in this world. The struggle wasn't between good and evil, but for the personal interests of each. Despite humans being at the bottom of existence at that time, they struggled until they could stand alongside gods, demons, and other mythical creatures."
Celia paused briefly and noticed the sparkle in her baby's eyes, then continued with enthusiasm, "Humans were able to stand alongside these great beings through magic and martial arts. Now, there are many knights and wizards who have managed to face dragons, gods, and demons."
"A human can train until they reach incredible power, and these powers are divided into main realms. The Mortal Magic Realm consists of nine levels, but above it is the Earthly Magic Realm where a wizard can form their Mana Heart, and then…"
She was interrupted by a maid who knocked on the door and entered politely, "Madam, the meal is ready, and the master is waiting."
Celia closed the book and smiled at Neil before saying, "Alright, I'm coming." She then bid him goodbye and left the room.
Neil remained lying in his crib, deep in thought about what he had heard. He realized that a wizard goes through nine levels before reaching the Earthly Magic Realm, where they possess a Mana Heart, and perhaps knights have a similar system. He continued to think and ponder about this new world until he drifted off to sleep once again.
With these new thoughts, Neil began his journey of exploring this world full of secrets and great powers, knowing that he had much to learn and discover.
