Justin, Lily and Lasha eat breakfast and get cleaned up and dressed up to go out shopping and to register Justin at the guild!
Justin's in his room ready too go walks over to look at his reflection in the full sized mirror.
Well can't say I don't clean up nice. Behind Justin Raina walks up and bushs the back of Justin's coat he was wearing! Raina starts to scrutinize his appearance. Using her delicate fingers to brush his hair to the side slightly!Justin was wearing a red and black tunic with white buttons slightly unbuttoned at the top, black leather pants, boots and a belt, with a black and red leather coat with gold buttons and lined with silver trim out lining the pockets opened in the front.
Raina is pleased at Justin's appearance, how ever she sees soming she views as an eyesore. A dark green holster with a black pistol in it with dark green straps strapped to his right leg and 6 dark green pouches on his left side of his belt and on his right is his Marine K bar sheathed in a tan leather sheath.
She looks up at Justin seeing as he is about a half foot taller than her. She points them out. What are theys ugly things you have attached to you?
Justin confused looks down and sees what she is talking about. Oh these ummm well I agreed with myself that I don't need to bring my rifle. Sooo I'm opting to bring my pistol instead but I also want to make sure I have enough ammunition, and my knife as a last case scenario. Raina with a sweet smile but that said smile does not reach your eyes. Which Justin has taken notice to this and with a lifted left eyebrow rised, and thinks of a response that probably won't get him smacked.
Well my dear Raina how would you suggest I carry my pistol and ammo. Raina thinks and holds out her hand! Do you have a extra one of those pouches, and may see that thing holding your pistol?
Justin looks at her and nods his head. He goes to the storage bracelet and pulls out one of his pouches for sidearm ammo. Pulls the magazines out of the pouch and hands the pouch to Raina, because the holster has three clips Justin unclipse the two that is securing The holster to his right leg and the one that secured around the belt it's self pulls it off and pulls out the pistol from it. Justin hands The holster itself to Raina . Raina quickly walks to the desk and pulls out a piece of parchment and with just her eyes inspects the ammo pouch and the holster turning them over and jotting down notes. Justin walks over and slightly peers over a Raina's shoulder. What he sees is very impressive without measuring anything she can write down sizes and how each part works. Raina then looks up at Justin. Master my see that thing as well, as she points to Justin's pistol that is in his hands? He looks down and nods. Just be careful this can be dangerous, as he hands her the pistol. She nods and holds the pistol delicately. The first thing she notices about the pistol is how old it looks at first glance and a weapon very well maintained. She caresses the barrel with her thumb turning it over once to see both sides. Then looks over to Justin and asks. Master this weapon is very well taken care of even though it looks very old. Justin smiles and points to the grip of the pistol. This was once my great- great -grandfather's pistol that he used in a war that was fought in my world nearly 90 so odd years ago. This pistol was passed down to my great grandfather who also used it in another bloody conflict that occurred in my world. It was then passed to my grandfather that did the same then my father after. This weapon has been rebuilt and refurbished 12 times in its lifespan. On my 13th birthday my father passed it to me saying the time will come when this will be my lucky charm. This pistol has saved all of us Thomas boys in one way or another if you can see the description on the grip. It says "Only those who carry the Thomas name may utilize the the lucky charm of this 1911".
Raina sees this and look back at Justin. So four generations have held this weapon in some form or another? Justin nods and response, yes and just as the description States it's a lucky charm for my family. That pistol saved my life twice. The first time the day my father and the rest of my family died on a camping trip. The second time when enemy spies infiltrated our military base during the war I was fighting in before coming here.
Raina not expecting that looks back at the pistol and hands the pistol back.
You have a very reliable partner that stays by your side at all times. Justin smiles and nods, I do. Raina the hands the holster back to Justin as he grabs it and holsters back his pistol and restraps it back to his right leg.
Rena however puts up a finger getting Justin's attention. I'll be making new pouches for you and what you call a holster I refuse to allow you to have such eyesores attached to you. I will speak to Annabelle about this madder and see what she thinks. Justin realizing that he doesn't have a say in this just nods his head. Raina then points at him. Besides none of that matches with your outfit, it's an eyesore. Justin chuckles at that, well don't have any other colors to work with.
Raina nods with a gentle smile on her face she gently brushes the front of the coat Justin's wearing. As they hear a knock at the door.
Justin calls out for them come in. As Lily and Lasha walks into Justin's room and Justin's eyes go wide.
Lily has a long white dress with black embroidered roses with gold trim throughout the dress and what Justin would only guess is a leather cardigan that is black with white embroidered roses covering the sleeves from the wrists all the way up to the caller and pure white high heels and her rapier at her left side with a thin black leather belt. Her long silver hair beautifully braided draped over her left shoulder.
Lasha with her green hair down and tied with a red ribbon and wearing a green and white dress that comes just above her knees. With a tan leather belt and two daggers on each side of her hips. She is also is wearing a tan long high heeled boots that come up past her knees!
Lily with a tinge of red on her face asks Justin. Umm you ready to go now? Lasha too with a little bit of red on her face fidgeting and not able to look at Justin's face.
Justin smiles at the two beautiful women in front of him.Yah ready to go! Be for they leave Lily sees the pistol strapped to Justin's leg. Lily looks up at Justin that thing on your leg it's an eyesore. Justin looking at her then turns around at Raina holding up his right index finger up! Don't you dare start! Raina giggles and nods her head. Very well master my lips are sealed.
Raina escorts the three to the carriage and bows her head with a soft and gentle smile seeing the three off! Master Justin I will be waiting for your return. Justin waves his hand telling Raina he will see her later as the carriage starts moving!
As they make there way throw the Nobel district Lily look at Justin sitting across from her and asks. Hey so that knife on your hip may I see it? Justin looks at Lily and smiles. Sure why not as he unclipse the knife that keeps it in place and pulls it out handing it to Lily. She study's the knife closely and asks. This is an exquisite blade how was it forged?Justin scratching his nose with a rye smile answers.
Well I'm not sure, forging is never been a skill I learned growing up. However that knife in particular is actually a standard combat knife issued to the United States Marines. Lily confused at Justin's answer tilts her head to the side. United States Marines who are they? Justin goes on to explain how United States military and all of its branches are set up and how they work in tandem with one another. Telling the girls how his country technically has two armies and Navy and an Air Force and another branch called space force however not going into detail a space force. The girls stunned at the explanation Justin gave them. As Lily hands the knife back Justin goes on to tell them the story about the knife itself.
This knife in particular was given to me by my father who in turn received it from a friend who was killed in combat in a place called Afghanistan who we were at war with for about 20 years. Both my father and his best friend joined separate branches of the military however both of them became elite soldiers within the United States armed forces. My father went on to join Delta Force while his friend join the Marines and becoming a Marine raider. They ended up doing a joint special ops mission together where Jonathan put his life on the line saveing my dad's life, but before he died he pulled out his Marine K bar and handed it to him when he was completely weaponless. He told my dad he had to live no mader what. The girls both lower their heads but then look back at Justin. So that weapon is Memento of the man who saved her father?
That's the smiles at them and not his head, yes I'm proud to have at myside.
As Justin puts the knife back into its sheath and clips it in place, and he smiles at the girls.
My father gave it to me after I beat my uncle Gomez's obstacle course record as an additional reward for doing so. The girls nod and smile as Lasha asks. Your father also sounds like a great man. Justin nods with a smile, he was I miss him dearly.
As they get throw the Nobel's district they make it to the shopping district where there are shops food stalls lining the streets and it's also where the various guilds are located. Justin is impressed and amazed at the sights and people. Walking the streets are all races of people from humans, elves, beast kin, demons, dwarves and many more. Lily calls out to the drive to stop the carriage so they can get out. Justin gets out first and holds his hand out to both the girls! Allow me my ladies? The girls giggle and nod there heads as he helps both of them off the carriage. Lily points out a clothing shop and guides the three person group to it.
As Time passed the girls show Justin around stopping at different shops buying clothes and tools Justin needy hitting up different food stalls as well. As they make there way down the street they come up to a building with a banner with a shield with a sword and ax crossing each other in front of the shield. Well we made it to the avengers guild let's get you registered Justin. Lily with a smile on face. You may get a chance to meet our party mates. Lasha nods and thinks about something. Umm my lady should we inform Lawson about Justin and his circumstances. Lily gos quiet for a moment. Then she nods, yes we should I'm sure father has informed Lawson but doesn't hurt to go and make the report. Ok this is what we will do let's get Justin set up first and then the two of us will call Lawson and report to him. Justin a little confused looks at Lily questioningly and asks. Why does this Lawson guy need to know about me and does the guild usually get involved in government issues?
Lily nods in understanding and explains. Well yes to some extent The avengers guild does get involved in certain government affairs not all though. The avengers guild is a organization that spans across the world to fight monsters and adventure into unknown places. They're given special quests from all the individual kingdoms to investigate ruins clear dungeons and hunt down monsters and bandits. Allowing all the kingdoms to focus on more important tasks unless the kingdoms needs to be involved directly. I'm sure father has already given Lawson an update about you, but I'm sure he will want to see you him self. Lasha giggles want do you think he will say when he finds out that you where beaten by Justin in a sparing match? Lily groans at that, and pinches the bridge of her nose. Let's not think about that right now please? Lasha laughs and grabs Justin's right arm and pulls it to her ample chest. Shall we go now? As Lily composes herself and grabs Justin's left arm doing the same as Lasha. Yes it's time you get registered with the guilt! As the two beautiful women pull Justin to the guild as he chuckles!
