I can feel his soft caress on my shoulder, lazily drawing a crooked line from my arm to my shoulder and then down again to my arm at a slow and repeated pace.
"Good morning." I say without opening my eyes.
"More like good afternoon, dearest." He responds. I instantly lift my lashes and my head turns to the clock on the wall and it is almost one pm!
"Duke!" I turn my head to the man laying next to me, fully clothed unlike me who is naked and wrapped in blankets.
"I was supposed to spend the whole day with the twins! This is your fault!" I knew he wasn't going to let go of the fact that I ignored his messages so I was half prepared to face the consequences of my actions last night but I didn't know we'd go on for that long!
From the moment Alan left my side last night, Duke had moved me into the room and we were at it till twelve midnight! No breaks!! Only after twelve did he allow me to eat something because I was desperately hungry.
