It was again a hellish day for Lex S. He almost got caught pickpocketing someone, a tourist at that.
The government hates it whenever people like him mess with tourist,yet they are doing none for the state homeless people like him live. The government were one of the few things he hates, second only to those so called heroes.
Superhumans who protects the people from any threats, though calling them a fat superstar pig would be more right for his taste. He never experienced receiving help from the superheroes, they focus on fighting terrorist as well as villains.
Lex S clenched his fist as he recalled the face of the superheroes in those commercials billboards. He never liked them in his life. They were tax hoarding pigs who uses the money of the citizens to live a luxurious and uncaring life.
They were the exact contrast of people like him, individuals who were born poor and has to work their entire life just to earn a few bucks.
Of course most people won't empathize with Lex, a poor, uneducated and troublesome son of a bitch. Not that he needs to create their empathy.
Lex never really care about their opinion for people like him, though it would be a different topic if it was actually him. He only wants to live, to eat one or two times a day perhaps three if he was lucky.
Lex didn't bother thinking about those ruffians anymore. He entered a secluded alley and immediately check the wallet. Seeing the contents inside, Lex stared blankly at the wallet.
Just a few penny. No Id and anything, just a few penny.
Lex curse inwardly. He knew those bastards got him good.
Just as he was about to run, Lex suddenly heard a voice behind him.
"Jul's lakcey huh?" it was a voice Lex wanted the least to hear. This voice is infamous in this entire area. It was Johan.
Johan is the son of a rich politician and a famous superhero, through their influence, Johan was able to indirectly rule this entire area.
However, this isn't why Johan is one of the most feared bastard in this area. It was because he possessed an ability called wind manipulation.
He has the ability to compress air into a single area, creating a cutting effect that can even surprass the speed of sound, as the rumors say though.
So is Johan a "bad" guy? Of course not. In fact he was a generous and righteous man, someone who respect other people despite their difference in power. And what he hates the most is people like, Lex. Thugs who steals what aren't theirs and causes havoc in the city.
He was a good man with a twisted ideology. Good is good, Bad is bad. That is Johan.
So what should Lex, a normal human do in this situation? The most ideal thing to do would be to run, but for Johan who is a superhuman, chasing a human would be as easily as breathing.
Just when Lex was in despair, a voice called out to him.
