Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Hyuga Hiashi

As Shoi tried to process the implications of the system's words, Then another thought struck him. "Why did Naruto die during the Fourth Great Ninja War? And what about Hinata and Hanabi? Weren't they supposed to be kidnapped by Toneri Otsutsuki?"

[The system does not provide specific details on past events. However, the timeline has shifted. Currently, it is approximately 12-13 years after the Fourth Great Ninja War. Hinata is 29, and Hanabi is 22.]

[Degen System Notification]

[New Mission Available]

A translucent window materialized before him, outlining the mission:

Mission: Develop Relationships with Key Figures

Objective:

Hanabi Hyuga: Build a relationship with Hanabi Hyuga.

Rewards: Enhancement of chakra control, increased influence, and access to Simulation Mode.

as he absorbed the mission details. "Wait… why weren't Hinata and Hanabi taken by Toneri? Is this because of the timeline shift?"

[The system does not have specific details on the reasons behind the altered events. However, it is possible that the timeline shift has led to changes in the sequence of events and character circumstances.]

Shoi frowned. "So you're saying that because the timeline has shifted, things might have played out differently? But how does that explain why they haven't been kidnapped?"

[Affirmative. The altered timeline may have resulted in significant changes to the events and circumstances involving key individuals. The system is designed to adapt to these changes and provide missions accordingly.]

Shoi stared at the system notification. The timeline shift was clearly causing unexpected consequences, and he needed to figure out how survive in this world. He glanced back at the mission details.

"Alright, so I need to build a relationship with Hanabi," he muttered. "But first, I need to understand this pure chakra. And what is this Simulation Mode in the rewards?"

[You can simulate the future and retain the rewards from each simulation. One simulation is given after every mission completion.]

Shoi nodded in understanding. "Isn't this… pretty good?" He thought, but for now, he decided to focus on the current matter at hand.

Shoi decided it was time to test his chakra. His knowledge of chakra control was minimal at best, but he knew that his chakra was supposed to be exceptionally pure.

He made his way to a secluded clearing near the village, hoping to find a quiet spot where he could experiment.

In the clearing, Shoi sat cross-legged and tried to focus. He had no real understanding of chakra manipulation, so he simply tried to feel the energy flowing within him, hoping that by some miracle, he could figure it out on his own.

Each attempt little more than a faint, flickering sensation of energy that Shoi could barely grasp.

Unknown to Shoi, Hiashi Hyuga, the patriarch of the Hyuga clan, was taking a rare stroll through the woods near the village.

Getting Some fresh air away from clan. His Byakugan was active, allowing him to survey his surroundings effortlessly.

As Hiashi walked, his attention was caught by an unusual fluctuation in chakra—an intensity and purity that felt out of place in this quiet, rural area.

He paused, peering through the trees with his Byakugan. The sight before him was unexpected: a young man, clearly inexperienced, yet with chakra so pure it practically shimmered.

Hiashi's eyes narrowed as he scrutinized Shoi's attempts.

The young man's chakra was potent, yet his control was severely lacking. However, the more Hiashi observed, the more he saw an opportunity—a chance to cultivate and harness this raw potential.

Still, Hiashi remained hidden, contemplating his next move.

Approaching this unknown young man without understanding more about his background and intentions could be risky.

For now, he decided to monitor from afar, observing Shoi's progress and behavior before making any decisions.

Shoi continued his practice, unaware of Hiashi's quiet observation. His efforts to control his chakra met with limited success, but the feeling of raw energy within him gave him a glimmer of hope.

Hiashi crouched behind a cluster of trees, his Byakugan scanning Shoi with a precision that left nothing hidden.

From his vantage point, Hiashi could see the chakra radiating from Shoi, its purity so extraordinary that it seemed to glow. The chakra was visibly more refined and powerful than what he had seen from most ninja, even those with years of training. The energy was almost tangible, pulsing softly like the heartbeat of a hidden force.

How can someone with such pure chakra be so untrained? noting how each flicker of chakra seemed to ripple through the air with a clarity that was both captivating and rare.

If this chakra were to be refined and trained properly… the potential could be extraordinary.

The urgency of the situation began to dawn on Hiashi.

The Hyuga clan was at a critical juncture.

With only three main branch members—himself, Hinata, and Hanabi—finding an individual with such a rare quality of chakra could be a game-changer.

The implications of this discovery were significant.

If another clan or powerful figure were to find out about Shoi and his potential, it could mean a substantial loss for the Hyuga clan.

Hiashi knew that he had to act carefully, ensuring that this young man's potential would benefit the Hyuga and not fall into the hands of their rivals.

Such a unique asset could easily be snatched away, and the opportunity for enhancing the clan's bloodline and Byakugan would be lost.

For now, it's best to observe, Hiashi decided, his mind calculating the best course of action.

"I need to gather more information and consider how to approach him without alarming him or revealing my own position."

The patriarch was well aware of the delicate balance he needed to maintain.

Hiashi's thoughts were interrupted as Shoi let out a frustrated sigh and slumped to the ground, clearly exhausted from his efforts.

The young man's shoulders sagged with the weight of his struggles, his determination waning after repeated failures to harness his chakra effectively.

Despite the boy's fatigue, Hiashi couldn't help but be impressed by Shoi's persistence.

He has the will, but he lacks the guidance, Hiashi mused. Perhaps this is where the he can step in. But first, He need's to know more.
