"Mom, didn't you say there was something you wanted to tell Grandpa?" Ryu Ji-ho asked, his voice hesitant but filled with hope.
His mother looked puzzled for a moment. "What? Something to say?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she gazed at her son.
"About his health check-up," Ryu Ji-ho replied quietly but with determination.
He had been trying to convince his parents to take his grandfather to a larger hospital in Incheon. Ji-ho was worried about his grandfather's health, which seemed to be declining daily.
"Mom, Dad, don't you think there's something off with your health?" Sim Young-sook, Ji-ho's mother, asked as she anxiously looked at her parents.
Grandpa, with his face full of wisdom and a faint smile, replied casually, "Whoever heard of old folks living without ailments? It's normal, nothing to worry about."
