As they stepped into the police station, Ryu Ji-ho and his younger sister, A-Ra, gave a quick nod of greeting before silently turning to walk further into the building.
They were searching for a security officer when suddenly, a department head approached them. With a warm smile, he welcomed the Ryu family and immediately made several important phone calls. Shortly after, he escorted them to the office of the police chief.
"Are there any national TV stations here?" Ji-ho wondered to himself, confused by the unusual welcome. Since when had the police in South Korea, known for their strict and serious demeanor, become so accommodating? It wasn't even an ordinary officer who greeted them, but rather the head of the department himself, personally guiding them through the station. The entire situation felt strange, almost too much.
