On the third day of Ryu Ji-ho's stay at the hospital, he firmly declared to his parents that he wanted to go home. However, this news soon reached James, a close family friend who had been by their side through thick and thin. Without wasting any time, James made his way to the hospital. In a calm but assertive tone, he suggested that Ji-ho undergo further medical examinations.
"Ji-ho, you need to have more tests done," James insisted.
"But I'm fine," Ji-ho replied, trying to reassure him. He repeated this several times, yet James remained unmoved. In the end, Ji-ho surrendered to the gentle but persistent pressure. Reluctantly, he agreed to go through the additional tests that were requested.
James had actually wanted to transfer Ji-ho to a larger hospital in Seoul, but Ji-ho flatly refused. So, the follow-up exams were done at the same hospital that had been treating him all along.
