I got up from bed early to prepare myself for work,I am Marley Grey,I work at a coffee shop and I live with my best friend Mia,Mia was the only family I had since the day I lost my mum and Dad left mum and I when I was still little,He stole all of mum's money and ran away to go live with his mistress.Months passed and mum got so devastated that she became dangerously ill,She passed away when I was eighteen and since then I have been catering for myself.

      It was 6:36 and I still had time to prepare for work,I took a shower and then went into the kitchen to make breakfast for myself and make coffee for Mia because she came back home drunk late at night,I went to the room and dropped her coffee beside her bed and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

I left the house and boarded a taxi to the coffee shop,It was a busy day at the shop,Everyone was so busy;While taking orders,A hard surface bumped into me,My head and my hands were on his chest,I felt so safe in his arms…..   Are you fucking blind asshole; The man scolded me;Asshole! I muttered inwardly,Mister you were the one who bumped into me;don't you have manners,you should be apologizing to me;I said looking at him and admiring his facial features,His so handsome,I felt dumbstruck looking at the handsome man in front of me I thought to myself;Get a hold of yourself Marley,I snapped out and came back to reality!   The people in the shop were surprised with the way I spoke to him,He stood there starring at me with his dark eyes with a cold glare…Mr wells I'm so sorry please don't mind the girl;The manager said to him..Oh no! If the manager knows this man's name then he is important to the manager,I thought to myself and I stood there quiet like a little girl…

    Fire her;I heard him say,What! Please sir I'm so sorry,I promise to do whatever you want but please don't fire me…

  Wow Munchkin!I never knew you are this gentle,he said and chuckled,Well next time you watch your tongue and don't mess with fire, he smirked devilish and left the shop with his bodyguards.The manager went to his office and I followed him;Sir I promise to be a act better and to never talk back at customers.

     You are fired;Miss Grey..But sir you can't fire me because of that man;He laughed at me,man you say;well miss Grey that man is Logan wells,the first on the billionaire's rank chart in Los Angeles,Now leave my office Miss Grey…

While in the car,Logan kept thinking of how she spoke to him that way,The thought of it made him smirk;the nerves,he muttered inwardly;Jack get me the details of that girl..  

I got home feeling so down,Mia wasn't home,I did not want to bother her so I called Edwin my boyfriend,His line wasn't connecting so I went to his apartment to meet him.Edwin and I have been dating for 3 years but we haven't had sex because I am a virgin and I'm not ready to have sex yet.

     Mia doesn't like him,She always says he doesn't deserve me but I loved Edwin so much and I know he feels same for me. 

    I got to his house;Edwin,I called but got no response,His door was open so I went inside,I heard sounds and moans;No Marley,it's not what you think maybe his just watching a blue film,I muttered.I went further and opened the door slowly and I couldn't believe my eyes,Tears rolled down my eyes,I ran out, I heard Edwin chasing me but I did not want to listen to whatever he had to say.

   Then he pulled me forcefully to himself;Marley I did not know how to tell you this but it's easy for me now;It's over between us,he said and went back inside.I stood there still dumbstruck by the whole scenario with tears rolling down my eyes.Why I'm always unlucky;I get fired and get cheated on in one day.

    I wiped my tears and went back home;Mia was already home,I hugged her so tight when I went inside.What's wrong Marley?,I got fired and I caught Edwin cheating on me today!Come on Marley,everything will be fine and for Edwin I told you he doesn't deserve someone like you,you shouldn't be crying because of that coward.

    I have an idea,why don't we go to the club tonight,No Mia,You know I've never been to a club and,Shshhh she shut me up,Trust me Marley it will be fun. Okay fine,I decided to go so I can cool my brain.
