Lara's emotionless eyes were drawn to a majestic gate that stood opposite her. The gate, adorned with countless glowing lines, stood tall and imposing, casting a shadow that seemed to encompass everything around her.
A black shirt hung loosely on her body, accentuating her lithe figure. Her long, flowing blue hair was tied up in a high ponytail, cascading down her back in a mesmerizing display of elegance.
As the wind gently tugged at her hair, it revealed a shallow, almost invisible cut mark under her right eye.
With a bored expression, she raised her hand to push open the gate. At that moment, a bright screen flashed before her eyes.
"#The_Soul; Are you sure?"
Lara arched her brow, was he worried about her?
"#The_Soul; Just don't die, I spent a lot on you."
She couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. What did she even expect? A being so powerful, capable of obliterating everything, expressing concern for her? How laughable.
With a cold expression, she swung open the gate, causing a cloud of dust to rise in the air. Her emotionless eyes instantly transformed into crescents as she gazed upon the sight that awaited her - a towering and grotesque seven-eyed snake known as Onicuss, one of the many boss monsters on the 75th floor.
It took her an extra two years to finally make it to this place. She knew she was weak compared to the other players on this floor, but recently, she unlocked her special skill which filled her with a renewed sense of excitement.
Lara glanced at her status, and the corner of her lips curled into a scoff.

"Regression? Hmm, maybe the system thinks I have died so many times that it doesn't even matter if I die a few more."
Lara entered the gate and her black shoe gently touched the ground as she took a step forward.
The space inside was dark, with only the bright gem on the snake's head providing illumination. Just as she was about to unsheathe the sword hanging from her waist, a shrill cry echoed through the air.
"Nian!!!"
It was only then that Lara noticed the snake's movements. Its body had shallow injuries, and it was hissing at a man who was kneeling. The person, with black hair, formed a shield around himself, but the snake's powerful tail effortlessly shattered it.
Lara squinted in the direction of the voice, and her gaze caught the reflection of bright silver hair. A beautiful woman, dressed in purplish attire, was desperately screaming at the injured man. Her voice echoed through the room, filled with a mix of anger and fear.
But she was being restrained by a man with brown hair, who was doing his best to keep her away from the snake.
Lara raised her brow in surprise as her gaze shifted to another group of male players in the distance. They were surrounded by a golden cloud, watching the trio's predicament with amusement.
Lara quietly approached the scene, taking gentle steps. Her eyes unconditionally followed the desperate, crying woman's gaze, only to fixate on the injured man kneeling in front of the massive snake.
Then she murmured under her breath.
"How did they find this hidden chamber?"
On each floor, there were countless boss monsters scattered in different locations. That's why, after pestering Soul, Lara found out about a hidden boss monster. She had hoped that not many players would find this place, but it seemed like a lot of people did.
"I shouldn't have believed in Soul."
'That bastard.'
