Half a year later.
In a small forest within Konoha Village, two figures were rapidly moving around in the training ground.
Might Duy stood on the sidelines with his hands on his hips, watching the two combatants with a serious expression.
"Konoha Whirlwind!!!"
During a high-speed run, Guy suddenly stopped, bending his left leg slightly and using his momentum and strength to deliver a powerful kick with his right leg.
This Whirlwind Leg move was fast and forceful, with a fierce wind accompanying it, creating an illusion of unavoidable force.
Fūka remained calm, a faint smile on his face. With a light tap of his right foot, he soared into the air.
"Konoha Great Whirlwind!"
The gust of wind from Guy's Whirlwind Leg was like an eagle's screech, instantly enveloping Guy's Konoha Whirlwind and sending him flying.
Bang!
Guy crashed into a small tree, breaking it in the process.
"Impressive!"
Guy rolled over and stood up, rushing toward Fūka again.
The two continued their exchange, various taijutsu moves colliding in mid-air, causing the air to explode and strange currents to swirl.
Bang!
Bang bang!
Guy was repeatedly kicked away by Fūka, but under Might Duy's extreme training, Guy's stamina and endurance had surpassed that of ordinary people. Since neither was using chakra in their fight, Guy kept getting knocked down and getting back up, launching relentless attacks against Fūka.
Might Duy watched with satisfaction, feeling fortunate to have taken Fūka on as his disciple.
'Fūka's talent is extraordinary. In just six months, he has undergone a complete transformation. And based on my taijutsu, he has even developed powerful techniques like Konoha Whirlwind and Konoha Great Whirlwind!'
Might Duy smiled with pride, knowing that Fūka had not kept these techniques to himself but generously shared them with him and Guy, allowing them to learn and improve together. Now, these taijutsu moves had become quite formidable.
"An opening!"
In the middle of the fight, Guy maneuvered behind Fūka and ruthlessly delivered a Konoha Great Whirlwind kick.
Fūka responded with a strange smile, kicking out with astonishing speed and force to counter the attack.
"Konoha Strong Whirlwind!"
Bang!
Their legs collided violently in mid-air. After a brief moment of stalemate, Fūka's leg continued its sweep, sending Guy flying once more, causing even more damage to the surrounding plants and contributing to the destruction of Konoha's greenery—a real public nuisance.
"What?!"
Might Duy was stunned and couldn't help but exclaim, "Fūka, what was that move just now?"
"Ah, that's a new spinning kick I developed recently," Fūka replied.
He felt a bit guilty as he said this.
All these moves were originally developed by Guy in the original series. Fūka had just brought them out early.
"I see, Fūka. You are a taijutsu genius!" Might Duy said excitedly.
Guy, with a bruised face and several contusions from the kicks, stood up again. Despite his injuries, his thick eyebrows remained as unperturbed as ever, clearly well-protected.
"Fūka, you've gotten even stronger," Guy said with enthusiasm. "But it's this version of you that is my lifelong rival! I will become stronger, surpass you, and never give up! Youth will never admit defeat!!!"
Wow!
With a roar of passion, Might Duy embraced his son, and the two of them cried once more. They had done this many times over the past six months, but every time, Fūka couldn't help but get goosebumps.
"Can you two be a little mindful of the readers' emotions?" Fūka sighed.
As the father and son finished their emotional display, Guy suddenly said to Fūka, "Fūka, you should really go to school for a bit."
For the past six months, Fūka's Shadow Clone had perfectly taken his place, attending ninja school, studying, and maintaining good relationships with Rin, Kurenai, and others without anyone discovering the truth about the clone.
But trouble seemed to find him.
Hinata Masaru, a classmate, had challenged Fūka multiple times, and another classmate, Uchiha Roku, had become increasingly arrogant, seeking out conflicts after learning about Fūka's relationship with Asuma Sarutobi. Over the past six months, classmates who once thought highly of Fūka began to gossip, thinking he had neglected his studies and become useless, while students from other classes had long forgotten about him.
Fūka, however, was not concerned. "It's fine. The Shadow Clone has half my chakra and plenty of battle experience. Hinata Masaru and Uchiha Roku won't be able to match up to my clone."
"Let's hope so," Guy agreed, believing that with Fūka's current strength, he had reason to say so.
…
At noon, in the ninja school.
Fūka's Shadow Clone was eating lunch with Obito, Kurenai, Rin, Asuma, and the still-bruised Guy, when the arrogant Uchiha Roku stormed in once again.
"Hey, Uchiha Fūka, how long are you going to keep hiding?" Uchiha Roku sneered.
His lackeys also chimed in with provocative remarks.
"Only hiding among women, disgracing the Uchiha clan!"
"He doesn't deserve to bear the Uchiha name and should be exiled."
"Heh, knows he can't measure up, so he sticks with that useless perpetual Genin, learning taijutsu. What a match made in heaven!"
Snap!
Fūka and Guy both snapped their chopsticks in half.
"What are you saying?" Fūka stood up, his gaze cold as he looked at the person insulting Might Duy.
Guy also stood up and shouted, "My father is not useless; he's an excellent ninja!"
"Excellent? Hahaha, what a joke." Uchiha Roku, seeing that Fūka finally responded, revealed a sickly grin. "A mere Genin who can't even be promoted is considered excellent? That's a cheap laugh!"
"Asshole!" Guy clenched his fists, ready to charge and fight.
But a hand stopped him.
"Guy, this is my issue; let me handle it," Fūka said calmly.
"But you…" Guy hesitated, knowing that the Fūka before him was only a Shadow Clone and that excessive chakra consumption could make it disappear.
Fūka said, "A day as a teacher, a lifetime as a father. Uncle Duy's training saved me five years' worth of time. How can I allow anyone to insult him in front of me?"
Some things can be endured, but this cannot!
Might Duy's training was incredibly brutal, pushing limits and causing great bodily harm, but it was undeniable that the intensity far exceeded what Fūka could have achieved on his own, saving five years was no exaggeration.
"Alright," Guy nodded, his eyes shining with resolve under his thick brows. "Fūka, be careful!"
"Obito, should I go get Teacher Kiyono?" Rin, the peacekeeper, looked worriedly at Fūka and then at Obito.
Obito, calmly sitting and looking up at Uchiha Roku with a smirk, said, "Rin, don't worry. This guy was already beaten by Fūka half a year ago. It's not a big deal."
"Is that so?" Rin frowned.
Nearby, Asuma, who had enjoyed Fūka's cooking for six months, didn't want to just stand by and said, "Fūka, if you'd rather not fight, you don't have to."
"Humph," Asuma snorted.
"It's okay. Think of it as a warm-up after a meal," Fūka said with a smile, walking out. "Let's take this outside."
"Fine. This time, I'm going to defeat you thoroughly!" Uchiha Roku said with a cruel grin.
