They had completed their classes for the day and spent their free time questioning the other cadets about Lance's disappearance.
Along with the training of the inter kingdom competition, they were really tired and just wanted to rest for a while.
"Do you plan to keep on having that long face?" Thorndyke whispered in Gwen's ear as they walked in the hallway towards their dorms.
Gwen shot him a glare, her nostrils flared in irritation.
"I do plan to have this long face, thank you very much," she retorted, her tone dripping with sarcasm, "It is a reflection of how I feel about you right now."
Thodndyke chuckled at her grumpy expression.
"Ah, don't be so cranky, little venom," he teased, "It's not like I find your incompetence amusing or anything like that."
Gwen rolled her eyes, "You clearly find it amusing. You were laughing like a hyena in flying class."
He smirked at her, shrugging slightly.
