Sensing her worries Dimitri opened his eyes to look at her, "Hey, don't overthink things. It's not your fault."
He reached to poke her cheek. Because she was pouting the cheek bulged a bit, he wanted to pull on it but refrained from doing so.
Adeline let out another exasperated sigh and said, "But it is! You didn't want to go into the ruins. You only went because I went..." She felt like she was causing so many problems... The feeling of guilt came to her too often.
"And I would have died if you didn't come here in the first place. We are alive now, are we not? So stop worrying." Dimitri sat up with enthusiasm. After being healed, his vigour came back.
The Mage Tower should not be too far from here. He could vaguely make out the top of the tower from in between the trees. He will be able to complete this journey.
