Chapter Eighty-Eight: Go Out Together
Seraphina's POV
I wondered if I finally belonged here. Luther had cared about me enough to attempt hurting himself when I was killed for his sake. Elisa liked me now. Ed always had.
Percy didn't think I was a workload, and Third and I worked well together. Maybe I had integrated myself into this family without realizing it.
I also didn't feel pressured to be anyone but myself, which was a good change from my past lifestyle. I was actively looking for my family's killers, too.
My phone beeped in my pocket, and I stood up from where I had been sitting with Percy in silence.
He looked up at me as I left his side. I asked, "Third is back from wherever he left to, right?"
"Yeah, and he's in a better state of mind, so you can approach him," he said, leaving the seat as well.
I stretched. "I'd be going to sleep now. Good night." I yawned while walking to the new mansion.
