Chapter Fifty-Four: Lost Temper
Percy's POV
I looked behind Geo. The Alpha was seated beside a line of graves that belonged to the same family. He had a wine bottle, so he was probably toasting to them.
"Mr. Lennon."
I frowned when he called me. His letter didn't specify that I attend his invitation, so he shouldn't come at me again.
"Don't be scared when I ask you this." He left where he sat and handed the cup to a warrior by his side.
When he faced me, my frown eased. He looked like he hadn't slept for a few days, and half the problems in the world were consuming him.
I speculated this only because he had become tanner, which would mean he didn't rest inside much anymore. "What is it?"
"You know a pack named Hardin, don't you?"
My face stiffened. These ones again? I didn't want to hear any of it, but I knew I had to. It involved her.
