Chapter Forty-Four:
Seraphina's POV
"This isn't funny."
I remembered the girl who had left the bathroom. Nothing had seemed amiss with her, and she might not have used this stall, but I needed to direct my anger at someone.
I sat on the toilet seat, fuming in silence. I'd be dead before I started screaming for help just for being locked inside a stall. And what if Third or some other young man rushed in, thinking I was getting strangled by an octopus from the sink?
It'd be better if I hadn't gotten a second life.
"Dramatic much?"
I froze when I heard Samira's voice in my head. She was close! "How close are you? Third might notice you again. I think he was a ranked wolf back in his time."
I speculated since his lupine senses were sharp enough to notice Alpha Sebastian watching us the last time we went to the pack. Samira gave no response, and I climbed the toilet seat to look outside the window.
