Chapter Eighty-One: Premonition
Seraphina's POV
I stayed by the porch, waiting for Percy and the result of my awesome escape. I really wanted to see the look on that Lambo boy's face when he'd realize I had run off and called for help. Also, Mikal! He underestimated me!
I laughed loudly in my head but didn't do that in reality because there were two commanders beside me. The gate slowly opened, and I sprang from where I lay. It was Percy's Sienna. I stopped myself from scratching the seat as I hoped for the car to come in faster.
Percy jumped out first and went straight to the old mansion. Did he just avoid me? I stayed frozen as they all trooped out and entered the old mansion. Couldn't they see me, or what? Then I realized that I was behind the door, and these men didn't have sharp lupine senses like Third. I opened the door to be more visible.
