By the time Sakura and Karin arrived to join the fray, the battle taking place at Shukaku's feet was getting dangerously close to Sakura's apartment building— if the battlefield moved just a little bit farther, she would end up homeless— that is, if there even was a village left to inhabit by the time this was all over.
Tailed Beast Mode Gaara was currently fighting against Naruto wrapped in his One-Tailed Chakra Cloak, and it was their battle that was causing the most collateral damage to their surroundings; with the gigantic demon tanuki swatting at Naruto and sending him flying through buildings.
As for Tenten, she was currently duelling Temari and Kamatari the Kamaitachi, suppressing them with her Space-Time Ninjutsu and her versatile puppet army, while Sasuke and Neji had teamed up to face Kankurō.
"Feel any special power awakening within you?" Sakura asked Karin nervously, as they jumped down from the rooftops. "Something like sealing chains? Of the Adamantine variety, maybe?"
Karin shook her head; she had no clue what Sakura was referring to.
Without any special Uzumaki sealing cheats, it looked like they would have to fight the chakra colossus the normal way…
'What is our Shadow Clone doing?' hissed Inner Sakura. 'We could really use a boost, right about now!'
…
Somehow, it seemed like the Dōjutsu duo was having some trouble with Kankurō's crow puppet. Sasuke and Neji had exhausted a lot of their chakra in their earlier fight, and on top of that, it looked like Sasuke's right hand was broken, which was stopping him from weaving hand signs.
"Substitution Jutsu!"
Just as Neji was about to reach Kankurō, the Sand-nin swapped places with his puppet, against which Neji's Gentle Fist was completely useless. Kankurō had made sure to keep as many of his tricks a secret, so Sasuke and Neji were both wary of the Crow puppet's hidden weapons…
Seeing as Sasuke and Neji needed a hero, Sakura decided to jump in and help them out first.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Blade!"
Sakura unsheathed her sword and spat out a roiling mass of pale green chakra onto its blade, coating the gleaming metal in the shearing chakra.
Upon seeing Sakura running towards his puppet with her sword brandished in the air, Kankurō immediately activated the Crow puppet's mechanism that would release a smoke bomb. Sharpened chakra was the only thing that could sever the chakra threads which allowed him to control his puppets, so in this regard, swordsmen were a puppeteer's ultimate enemy!
Sakura slashed at the smokescreen, and the wind chakra coating her blade flared out, in turn disturbing the surrounding air. The sudden twister dispersed the black smoke, exposing the rapidly fleeing crow puppet.
Seeing an opportunity, Sasuke swiftly dashed in and kicked the puppet, destabilizing it and leaving it wide open— and having previously exchanged fists with him, Neji now had a better understanding of Sasuke's thought process— so in a spending display of teamwork, Neji jumped over Sasuke's head and seized Kankurō's chakra threads with his own two hands.
"I've got you now!" Neji snarled.
Neji sent a pulse of his own chakra back through Kankurō's chakra threads, immediately knocking him out from a distance.
Now, apart from Gaara, the only remaining enemy was Temari. Except…
"I'm done on my end as well," said Tenten coolly.
Temari's unconscious body plummeted from the heavens, and Tenten lazily extended the tip of her bō staff to catch Temari before she crashed to the ground.
'Argh,' Inner Sakura groaned. 'My head… Something's wrong…'
"The village can't take much more of this," Tenten pointed out, eyeing the Kaiju fight going on before their very eyes. "We can't afford to take the fight to the monster here— we need to change the battlefield."
Sakura, Sasuke, Karin and Neji looked up at the gigantic One-Tail dubiously. How were they supposed to achieve such a feat, exactly?
"I have a plan," Tenten continued, gaining more and more confidence as she spoke. "But first, we're going to need Naruto's help. Sakura, can you take care of calming him down?"
"You can count on me," said Sakura, pounding her chest with her right fist, causing her breasts to jiggle wildly. "I—"
Suddenly, memories began rushing into Sakura's brain; her Shadow Clone had just dispelled herself upon successfully accomplishing its mission. A cool feeling began filling her head, the world suddenly coming into focus, as if she had been myopic her entire life and was only now discovering glasses…
And of course, Sakura's G-cup chest, which had already been bordering on an H-Cup, jumped up by one letter in the sizing charts. Sakura's breasts strained further against the taut fabric of her red combat Qipao, her dress so tight that it indented into her skin, causing her flesh to bulge out, and spill up-and-over the limits of her shirt.
Tenten's jaw dropped open as she watched Sakura's chest expand before her very eyes; her next words evaporating from her mind like water in a hot wok. What had she been about to say, again?
Ding! Congratulations to the Host for attaining H-Cup (97cm bustline). Accept rewards?
Sakura hadn't grown much bigger, relatively speaking, but the important thing was that she was now eligible for the System's next reward!
"Right, as I was saying," said Tenten, tearing her envious gaze away from Sakura's prodigious frontage. "I didn't want to use this, but it looks like we're running out of options… So! I have this experimental weapon, but the problem is that it eats up your chakra like crazy. Still, I'm pretty sure that Naruto should have enough chakra to use it… probably."
And upon saying so, Tenten retrieved a sealing scroll from one of her pouches and laid it flat on the ground, before making a few dozen hand signs over it.
Poof! A red and white fan popped out of the scroll in a puff of white smoke.
'As if that's an experimental weapon!' Inner Sakura shouted. 'I know what that is! That's the Bashōsen, one of the Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths! Whom are you trying to fool, fool ya fool! If you've got something like that, why not bring out something more useful against Tailed Beasts like the Kohaku no Jōhei!?'
And just like that, Sakura's sealed memories came rushing back into her head. The System's warnings about spatiotemporal distortions, the futuristic puppets, the Reverse-Summoning Jutsu used like the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, Tenten confronting her in that dark corridor…
Ding! Congratulations to the Host for attaining H-Cup (97cm bustline). Accept rewards?
'Shut up, System, not right now!' shouted Inner Sakura. 'We need to make a decision; should we trust Tenten, or not?'
Sakura hesitated; the Tenten she knew was a good girl.
In the original timeline, Tenten had basically only existed to explain Neji's techniques, which is why it had been her dream to one day become a hero beloved and admired by all, like her idol Tsunade. And who wouldn't want to be a hero, if they could actually turn back time and redo everything perfectly?
Sakura didn't know what Tenten had endured in the world of the future, or how she had come to regress, but deep within, she knew that Tenten had the village's best interests at heart. Even so, Sakura just had one question: was Tenten's idea of a perfect redo really what was best for everyone…?
