That evening when Qin Mei returned to the bedroom she did not see Huo Xinhan.
At first she thought he might be taking a bath but after almost an hour had passed she realized that he might not be in there.
She pushed open the bathroom door and indeed the huge space was empty without any trace of him.
Maybe he was doing something else?
Qin Mei did not even realize that she was already starting to think about Huo Xinhan or maybe... she was starting to care about him.
Qin Mei sighed helplessly and quickly took her bath before returning to the bedroom but there was still no trace of him around.
Qin Mei shrugged her shoulders and assured herself that maybe he was busy and would be back later.
She got on the bed but she could barely sleep or even close her eyes.
After many tossing and turning, Qin Mei finally fell asleep at dawn when Huo Xinhan was still not back.
