Huo Xinhan watched the video all over once again. He caught sight of the faint smile on Qin Mei's face when she lied to him.
Was it funny to have had him worried?
Huo Xinhan felt a sharp pain in his eyes and chuckled. Maybe this was a punishment from the heavens because of his ruthlessness.
He loved Qin Mei so deeply that he could not get angry with her even though he found out that she had lied to her. He only felt sad but he was not angry. How could he get angry at her? He could not bear to or bring himself to be angry with her.
If...if this was what could make her smile then it did not matter what kind of pain he felt. That was just how deeply he loved her.
Huo Xinhan put the phone away and leaned closer to kiss Qin Mei on the forehead. Her fever was almost gone now.
"MeiMei... you have no idea how much I love you and what extent I could go for just for you", Huo Xinhan sighed and wrapped his huge palms around her tiny and soft palm.
