"Hong! Hong! Something's coming fast!" someone shouted. "Nathan! Yo, lil' bro, swing that! What the fuck are you doing?"
A car ran over every akuma that was about to attack Nathan, and it almost hit him.
"Who the fuck ahhh ...john?" Nathan thought, relieved but also nearly having a heart attack. He lay on the ground, took a long breath, and said, "If you were alive, why didn't you come earlier, you son of a bitch? How the fuck would I reach here with all these akumas running wild?"
Nathan approached him and said, "I mean, great timing, but being a cool cousin doesn't mean you can scare me like that. I almost had a freaking heart attack."
Nathan was relieved that at least one of his relatives had survived.
After all the mess that had happened, Nathan and his cousin John went to the grocery store and then to Nathan's house. There were some akumas in the store, but Nathan wasn't the only one who had been trained by their grandfather.
John started talking. "So, how'd you survive this long? Wait, let me take a guess – grandfather's guidance and all that, right?"
"Yeah, that's right," Nathan replied. "I thought so. Without him, we would've been those freaks."
John hesitated and asked, "Is everyone dead?"
"Yeah, Mom was the first, then my sister, and so on. I couldn't kill them; I just locked them in the guest room."
John said quietly, "I see."
"So, where did you find that freaking katana?" John asked.
"Oh, I just found it at the shrine on the left mountain," Nathan said.
"So, you're definitely Beta Nathan," John said. "What's with Alpha Nathan – is he still in there?"
John knocked on Nathan's head. "He's still there, always causing trouble, charging at a dozen akumas without consideration. I'm the one who's in trouble."
John asked, "So, what's next?"
Nathan replied, "I don't know, but I know one thing for sure – we must survive."
John said, "Pack your things; we're leaving."
"Why? We have everything – food, water...," Nathan said, confused.
"Do you know why Grandpa trained us?" John asked.
"Yes, to kill," Nathan replied.
"No, you fucking dumb little shit," John said. "We were trained to protect. In this situation, the other Nathan is far better than you."
The silence spread.
John said, "Sorry, I shouldn't have said that. I know everything that happened with Grandpa."
Nathan replied, "You don't know shit. Why the fuck was I chosen to be the head of the dojo? I didn't say I wanted it."
John explained, "Because Grandpa saw greatness in you – not one, but both you and the other you are chosen ones."
Nathan said, "Yeah, right. Let's go then."
Before leaving, Nathan made sure to pick up an item that belonged to his grandfather – a long, big cloth covered in a large amount of torn clothing.
They left after gathering the necessary items.
Soon after they departed, someone arrived at the family house where Nathan had been staying.
Soon everything will be alright thought nathan.
But going to happen was the worst case scenario that nobody could avoid because it was the root akumas evolution
