As you all know that in 1761 the maratha empire suffered a huge loss in third battle of panipat against the durrani empire of ahmed shah abdali. But what if I tell Shuja-ud-Daulah and other indian kings and also of the Sikhs came in time to help marathas win the war with much more logistics support.

In this way marathas were able to defeat the afghans in 3rd Battle of Panipat . Due to this The Maratha Empire not only survived but thrived further.

This victory not only made them the Maratha empire the most dominant power in the Indian subcontinent and also paved a way for the reunification of the Indian subcontinent, not senn since the times of Mauryan Empire.
