The plan was simple... stratify the skeletons and bring in the others to finish everyone off. It was a move I didn't decide on right away, but I didn't want to run around and fish out skeletons. Maybe I was in a hurry, maybe not.

The skeletons had a small benefit, yes, it was almost intangible, but it was still there, and that's worth a lot. Anyway, one time I made a mess of my skeletons with another group that outnumbered mine. There was a huge battle between the skeletons. On one side were my skeletons, against a large enemy mob that showed aggression after the first enemy skeleton was slaughtered by a mob of mine. From all sides, more and more enemies were arriving with every passing second. Driven by rage, the enemy skeletons and mine were fighting to the death... hehe... and that made me happy - there was more and more experience!

The outcome of the battle, I think, was obvious. And mine were quickly blown to smithereens, and then, everything subsided. But... right in front of me was a huge crowd of skeletons, which I took advantage of by attacking them with fire spells.

The enemy formation was quickly overwhelmed by the deafening explosions

Experience +3450

The skeletons, as if waking up from a long sleep, attacked me with fury. Shuffling their bony legs, they quickly reached me and their rusty swords slid uselessly on my armour, and then the three most clever ones quickly turned into a cloud of vapour. Behind them were two dozen more and they all wanted to kill me with fury.

But what could they do with their rusty swords when I was against them - with amplification and accelerated perception, it was as easy as fighting goblins. All it took was a sword strike to shatter the rusty sword and the skeleton itself, and it burst into a cloud of vapour. Then came the second, third, fourth. My onslaught was merciless against the skeletons and left them no chance of victory. My training with Ram and Rem had not been in vain. I chopped, stomped, and destroyed them. The experience was just flowing. But I didn't pay attention to the notices - I just chopped, holding a sword in both hands. I was just overflowing with euphoria and combat excitement.

And the skeletons were not getting smaller. They came out of all the passages, and these passages were not a small number. Skeletons became more and more. Rusty arrows were already flying at me and slipping uselessly near me. They were already trying to lift me on a spear and chop me with an axe. The skeletons were changing their appearance more and more: first they had ringlets, then rusty helmets and rusty cuirasses, but my sword was cutting them all down as if I didn't notice any defences on their bodies. Soon the white mist had spread completely through the air, and my vision was reduced to arm's length. And if I couldn't see well, the skeletons felt good.

I had to chop randomly, swinging my swords wide in all directions... After a few minutes, I felt hot. The blood in me was boiling, strange to say it. My gaze turned a little red, and my skeletal movements became a little slower. I sped up, scurrying around the battlefield, and sometimes even colliding with the wall....

And surprisingly, after a while no one tried to stab me, chop me up, or put a heavy object on me.

I was breathing heavily, looking around, frantically clutching my swords. The vapour cloud slowly began to fade, revealing a view of the battlefield. A thousand, maybe more, bones were lying everywhere. Somewhere in piles, somewhere they were scattered, but there were a lot of them. And that's just here, and I'd fought in more than one place.

I opened the notification icon and whistled in surprise. In the end, my adventure was a success.

- Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh. I sat down on the ground and stared at the ceiling. I was feeling a lot of different emotions right now, and I was shivering.

It was dangerous. But I reached level thirty very quickly. If you counted it like that... there were a thousand three hundred skeletons, maybe a little more or less. I was literally just enough to reach level 30. The plan... I guess you could say it worked. It was very dangerous, but I managed and that's something to celebrate... although no, the girls slept through the whole battle and didn't even move, but thanks to them there's no water in my armour now and I'm not squelching on the ground. Ugh, I'm even glad that they slept all this time and absorbed all the moisture, and also cooled my body with their cold bodies. Only now I noticed that I wasn't burning like hot metal. Thanks to my sisters!

- I wouldn't mind going to sleep now, but I don't need sleep, and I'm so full of feelings that I can't sleep... I'll find a safe place and evolve. Hmm, like that descent here, that'll do just fine!

As I stood up from the ground, I looked at the summoned sword that served as an additional weapon during the fight and noticed the cracks in the blade.

Sword of Light

Strength - 3%

Quality - good

Material - white steel

Mana Conduction - 50%

Mana charge - 132/1000

Nascent Soul - 1%

Monster Soul - 0/100

Human Soul - 0/10

Magician's Soul - 0/1

Yeah, it doesn't look like a sword of light. Apparently, I had unknowingly used the fire cover and the sword was damaged - and not only that... By the look of it, it was held together by snot and a single blow would destroy the sword completely irrevocably. It could have been thrown away and forgotten, but it had served me well. I just felt bad about throwing it away, so I put the sword in a spare scabbard, hanging it on the other side of my hip. If my magic worked, I could use the sword later. My favourite, on the other hand, was slightly down in strength by something like five percent.

Maybe it was my whimsy, or maybe it was just a little bit of a drunken mind. But as long as I kept it, let it be. Then, I moved towards the spiral staircase while studying the evolution list further.

Higher dullahan - increased physical and magical strength. Additional spells of darkness magic. Creation of a personal familiar. Form - original body.

Supreme Ghoul - increased immense physical strength. Additional spells. Berserk Skill. Form - a muscular and huge, four metre tall, leather clad skull.

Lich - increased immense magical power. Additional spells of darkness magic. Necromancy skill. Form - a skeleton hovering above the ground.

The choices were few and difficult. Of all three species, I was most suited to the supreme dullahan, especially interested in the skill of creating his familiars. I didn't look at Ghoul and Lich at all, and even less at Lich. If the description doesn't lie - I don't want to be a skeleton, and I don't want to lose my mister dragon junior yummy. The sisters will definitely be upset when they don't find him. Ghoul, on the other hand, would destroy my armour completely. Well, destroy it. It'll be impossible to put it on, because a four-metre tall Ghoul can't pull it off.

And to be deprived of the only means of body defence is stupid....

I stopped, thought for a moment, and stepped into the passage, closing the door behind me. Well, I hope I'm not going to be spit up now. I'll just get the sissies off my back now....

...

Hmmm... and this is harder than it sounds... had to mentally wake them up, which made them sluggishly and sleepily respond.

'Mhmm... master...?' - Ram and Rem asked sleepily.

'I have an evolution to go through, could you get off me for a while?'

The sisters flopped down on the ground, on top of each other.

'Ouuuhh... how thirsty... sleepy...' - And froze.

Yeah, weird... very weird. Their evolution is going very differently this time. But there's nothing I can do about it. I just have to wait for them to come round. I chose my evolution without much thought. It made me sleepy, and I fell asleep next to my sisters. Slowly my eyes were consumed by darkness. Clutching my sword with my hand and putting my armour back on, I covered my little sisters with my body and fell asleep....
