Mr Dan turned to her, his gaze accessing but kind. "My pleasure meeting you, I mean it's nice to finally have a face to put on the name in my mind". He chuckled as he extended a hand.
"But the role's a bit of a challenge, with hard character. . . You already know how difficult the role you want to audition for is. But looking at you…" He hesitated, then smiled wryly. "You look like an angel. Can you pull off as a male?"
Yvette raised an eyebrow, her competitive streak immediately flaring. "Why don't you let me try or you'll never know, there's no harm in trying. Right?" she replied with a confident stance.
Zeke also laughed, patting her back in support of her words. "That's my girl. Believe me, she's got this when she says she does."
Mr Dan raised an eyebrow inquisitively and grinned. "Alright, go ahead and change. Let's see what you've got in you. The first room on your right from across the hall".
