As she stared at the door which had been slammed shut she could only clench her fist tightly, gritting her teeth as the profound sense of regret pervades her soul.
"You brought all this upon yourself Nadia. I warned you, previously, I've told you but this is your decision. I told you to grab the phoenix and then strip him of his power to earn yours but you foolishly picked the peacock".
"This is your fate Nadia, you just have to face the consequences of your actions".
Nadia glanced up and immediately she saw Rachel, she instantly clung onto her legs with tears streaming down her porcelain cheeks.
"Please, I know I was wrong. I just thought . . ."
"I also had the same thoughts as you. The peacock wasn't even fighting the phoenix for position yet he still failed woefully. And you even failed at finding something on the lowly peacock despite being with him for years. You're a miserable failure".
