Zeke smiled, a look of admiration crossing his face. "Smart". He murmured, moving toward the kitchen. "Come on, I made breakfast."
They sat together at the table, enjoying the meal he had prepared. She leaned against him, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. Afterward, they snuggled on the couch, with her forcing him into watching her favorite show together.
Everything felt perfect, as if the past no longer had any hold on her. This was exactly what she wanted.
