The next morning, the brothers were summoned to the Hokage's office. As they entered, they found the Third Hokage, Jiraiya, and a few high-ranking jonin waiting for them. The atmosphere was tense, signaling the gravity of the situation.
"Himanshu, Divyansh," the Hokage began, his eyes grave. "We have received intelligence about Akatsuki movements. It seems they are planning to target another jinchuriki soon, and we believe they may be moving toward the Land of Wind. We need to act quickly to prevent them from capturing Gaara, the Kazekage."
Divyansh's eyes widened. "Gaara? But he's one of the strongest shinobi in the Sand Village. If the Akatsuki are going after him…"
Jiraiya nodded. "Exactly. If they manage to capture Gaara, it would be a severe blow, not just to the Sand Village, but to all the hidden villages. It would also mean the Akatsuki are closer to achieving their goal of collecting all the tailed beasts."
Himanshu crossed his arms, his mind racing. "So what's the plan?"
The Hokage leaned forward. "You two, along with a team of selected jonin, will head to the Sand Village immediately. Your mission is to assist in their defenses and, if possible, capture or eliminate any Akatsuki members you encounter. Jiraiya will accompany you, but you'll need to act independently once you're there. The situation may demand quick and decisive action."
Divyansh nodded, determination in his eyes. "Understood. We won't let them take Gaara."
Himanshu agreed. "We'll be ready."
Jiraiya smiled at the brothers, his eyes showing a mixture of pride and concern. "Remember, the Akatsuki are not to be underestimated. Stay sharp and work together. We don't know how many of them will be there, or which members we'll face."
As they left the Hokage's office, Himanshu and Divyansh felt a sense of urgency. They had seen what the Akatsuki were capable of, and they knew that this mission could be the most dangerous one yet.
