"Good morning mom" I say it's honestly weird calling her mom.
"Good morning Julian go sit down breakfast is ready" She says as I go sit down waiting for her to come with breakfast
'I transmigrated as the filler character who got Charmander will see the person who gets Bulbasaur' I think 'this really sounds like those cliche novels'
"Hey Julian are you excited to get your first Pokemon?" She asks putting the food ok the table
"Yes, I waited for this for years I'll become the best trainer you'll ever see" I say cringing and eat the food to not suffer more from embarrasment
"I know you will dear" she giggles
I continue eating my food as we talk some more, after finishing I get up and get my bag with the necessary things I need for my journey
"Make sure to be safe ok? I heard that there that a Spearow flock arrived in the outskirts of Viridian city and call me when you reach Viridian city" She says worriedly
"I will mom don't worry" I say putting my shoes on "Bye mom I'll call you when I am in Viridian city" I say running out the home going on the way to Professor Oak's lab
"Bye Julian" she shouts "kids grow up way too fast" she grumbles before letting out a sigh
I continue my way too Proffesor Oak's lab thinking about the possibilities in this world 'if it's the manga I am in for hell'
I reach Proffesor Oak's lab and knock on the door waiting for a few moments before someone opens the door
A person in white coat with glasses opens the door an assistant perhaps "Ah you are one of the trainers who Proffesor Oak sponsered right he is in the room upstairs" he says with a smile
I go up the stairs not before saying a thanks opening the door to see Proffesor Oak explaning the Pokedex excitedly to a girl 'The trainer who got bulbasaur' I think
After explaining the Pokedex Proffesor Oak finally notices me telling me to come forward "Ah Julian when did you arrive?"
"When you were explaining that thing called the Pokedex" I say
"It seems I do not have to explain the Pokedex again" Oak says "Now that you are here I suppose you can choose your Pokemon after Green chooses hers since she came here first"
I just nod 'Green, the one from the manga or a completely different character or she just didn't get kidnapped by the masked man this time around? I hope a different character I don't want to deal with the crazy villains in manga'
Green smiles goes up to the Pokeball with Bulbasaur in it "I already decided Proffesor Oak I choose Bulbasaur"
"An excellent choice Bulbasaur are known for their strength and agility, now Julian it's time for you to choose your Pokemon" Proffesor Oak says motioning me to choose my Pokemon
I go up to the Pokeball with Charmander in it picking it up with a smile "I want Charmander as my starter Pokemon"
"Ah I knew you would pick Charmander, you always wanted a Charizard after watching Red's Charizard" Proffesor Oak says with a smile
'Red exists so blue does as well, shit so is it the games, manga, or anime or a combination of everything?'
"Charizard has always been my favourite Pokemom I already decided it years ago" I say with a smile 'My favourite is not Charizard, it's Gengar' I say inwardly
Proffesor Oak chuckles and gives us the Pokedex and extra Pokeballs "Since I already explained you the Pokedex I take it you both know how to use it?"
We nod Putting away the Pokedex and Pokeballs "Since you both have gotten your Pokemon, Pokedex and Pokeballs it's time for you to start your very own journey I wish you luck" Proffesor Oak says with a warm smile on his face.
