Chapter 5 - Chapter 005: Home

As Mirai and Naruto walked through the streets of Konoha, the villagers opened a large passage for them, parting like a sea before a powerful tide. Whispers and hushed conversations filled the air, and it was clear that news of the commotion Mirai had caused in the Hokage's office, as well as his identity, had already started to spread throughout the village.

Naruto noticed the villagers' reactions, their wary and curious glances. He had grown used to being avoided and whispered about, but this time it felt different. There was a sense of awe and fear directed more at Mirai than at him.

"Uncle Mirai, why are they all looking at us like that?" Naruto asked, his small voice filled with confusion.

Mirai glanced around, his expression as usual stern and neutral, "They're reacting to me, Naruto. They remember who I am and what I can do. Don't let it bother you."

Naruto nodded, trying to understand. The presence of his uncle, the 'Blue Flash', commanded respect and fear, and it was clear the villagers remembered his power and reputation.

As they continued walking, the path remained clear, villagers stepping aside to give them ample space. Mirai's stern gaze ensured no one dared to speak ill of Naruto in his presence.

Following closely behind Mirai, Naruto carried a small pack with his meager belongings. His eyes were wide with confusion and curiosity.

"Uncle Mirai, where are we going?" Naruto finally asked, struggling to keep up with Mirai's brisk pace.

Mirai glanced back, his stern expression softening when he saw the confusion on Naruto's face, "We're going to your new home, Naruto. You won't have to live in that rundown apartment anymore."

Naruto's eyes widened in surprise, "A new home? But why now?"

Mirai sighed, his gaze forward as he navigated the familiar streets, "Because it's time you live the life you deserve. Your father and mother left you a legacy, and it's about time you benefited from it."

They continued walking until they reached a large, well-maintained house on the outskirts of the village. The house, with its expansive garden and sturdy structure, stood in stark contrast to Naruto's previous dingy apartment.

Mirai glanced at the unchanged house, standing resilient against the river of time. A grin spread across his face as he kicked the door open with a powerful thud. The sudden noise echoed through the house, alarming the middle-aged man inside.

The man rushed out, his face contorted with anger and confusion, "What do you think you're doing? This is trespassing! I'll report you to the Hokage!"

Before he could finish his tirade, Mirai grabbed him by the collar and effortlessly lifted him off the ground, tossing him into the yard with a casual flick of his wrist. The man landed with a thud, scrambling to his feet, his threats turning into desperate warnings.

"Trespassing on private property is a serious crime! You'll regret this!"

Mirai didn't even spare him a glance. Instead, he stepped inside the house, his eyes taking in the familiar surroundings with a nostalgic look. Memories of better times, flooded back as he walked through the rooms.

"This was Minato's home." He said softly to himself, more as a reminder of what he was reclaiming, "And now, it's Naruto's."

Naruto stood at the threshold hesitant, his eyes wide with uncertainty, "Uncle Mirai, is this really our house?"

Mirai turned to him, his expression softening. "Yes, Naruto. This is your home. It always has been. That man was just an intruder."

In the Hokage's office, the see-through hole in the wall had been repaired, but Hiruzen's portrait remained marred, a stark reminder of the recent events. Tired and irritated, Hiruzen sat at his desk, dealing with the endless stream of paperwork and duties that came with his position.

Just as he was about to move on to the next document, an Anbu appeared before him, bowing slightly, "Hokage-sama, we have a situation. Sarutobi Kito is attempting to storm the office. The guards have stopped him, but he is insistent on speaking with you."

Hiruzen sighed and rubbed his temples, wondering what his relative is here for.

"Let him in." He said reluctantly, "Let's see what this is about."

A moment later, Sarutobi Kito burst into the office, his face flushed with anger and frustration, "Hiruzen, what is going on? I heard in the way here that Namikaze Mirai has caused a commotion throughout the village and attacked the Hokage building. And now he's even throwing people out of their homes!"

Hiruzen looked at Kito with a weary yet firm expression, "Kito, the situation is indeed complicated. But understand this, Mirai is reclaiming what is rightfully his. The house was always the Namikaze residence. After the Nine-Tails attack, we used it temporarily to accommodate those who lost their homes. Now, the legal owner has returned, and he has every right to claim his property, even if his methods are rough."

Kito clenched his fists but slowly nodded, "I understand, Hokage-sama. But the villagers are uneasy. Mirai's approach has caused quite a stir."

Hiruzen sighed deeply, feeling the weight of the village's unrest pressing down on him, "I am aware. I will address the villagers' concerns, inform those affected by the change and make arrangements for alternative accommodations."

"Yes, Hokage-sama." Kito replied, bowing slightly before exiting the office.

As Kito left, Hiruzen leaned back in his chair, staring at the damaged portrait on the wall. The hole where his face had been was a stark reminder of Mirai's message. The 'Blue Flash' had returned with a fierce determination, and Hiruzen knew he needed to handle the situation delicately.
