「 CHAPTER 2: Dragon Ahead 」
After the introductions, Sir Von discussed the Syllabus for this subject and what we'll expect in this subject.
This is finally it! I'm gonna pass every subject with an excellent grade and graduate to give my parents a better life! Nothing will stop me now!
Whilst listening to the professor, I felt thugging on my blazer's elbow. As I turned my head to look; I saw Cad picking his nose and pointing at the window beside him.
"Dude, what? I'm trying to listen!" I whispered.
He kept pointing on the window while struggling to pick his nose and said.
"Look outside the window, there's something weird in the air"
I looked at the window and there I saw, a silhouette of a huge bird-like creature flying towards us. And soon, everyone started to notice and all gathered at the windows to look at the mysterious silhouette.
"Hey Isn't that the Dragon that's been going viral lately?" Asked by one his his classmate, followed by more questions from the others.
"Huh? Dragon? Wasn't that a fake AI bullshit?"
"Is this a movie prop?"
"Look It's getting closer now!"
As the silhouette was slowly coming towards us, everyone started to pull out their smartphones and started recording and taking pictures.
*SLAM*
Sir Von's hands slammed on his table echoed in the room.
"Okay Class, settle down! and go back to your seats! There's no such thing as Dragons, It's all fantasy-It's just probably a movie prop they're using for a film."
But all of a sudden a loud noise much like a roaring dinosaur was heard coming from the silhouette, the roar was so loud It shook the whole school building like an earthquake.
* ROAR *
Everyone In the school was shocked and scared. Everyone began panicking followed by screams of terror.
"IT'S A REAL DRAGON!!"
"RUN!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!"
"GOD! PLEASE HELP US!"
"CALL THE POLICE!! THE MILITARY!! ANYONE!! CALL FOR HELP!!"
They tried to contact the authorities but to their luck, there were no signal for some reason. As people were screaming, and crying for help, more roars came from the silhouette.
*ROAR*

*ROAR*
At that moment, It finally hit me. It's a real Dragon. My brain could not process what was happening. My mind is full of questions. I was in disbelief. Phone calls aren't working and the Dragon is very much close to our school. There was no time to escape. I looked around to find where Cad was, and he was just standing in front of the window.
"HEY MAN! I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW BUT WE HAVE TO LEAVE, ASAP!" I yelled at Cad grabbing his shoulder and prepare to escape.
Cad looked at me slowly and smiled.
"...Haha!"
And looked back at the window again.
"You know, It's been almost a decade since we last saw each other, last time was when we were kids. Good times, good times. But in the presence of something like that shit, we can't do anything against that. We lived a good life man, you know? I had a girlfriend for a year and she cheated on me, and I was earning money on my own and buying anything I wanted, life was good bro."
Despite of the chaos happening around us, Cad's voice was clear and loud for me to hear.
I was speechless. What he said made me realize that, we cannot do anything about that dragon and there's little to no time to escape so what's the point? Unexpectedly, despite the situation we're in, I was smiling. I put my arm on his shoulder and said.
"I guess you're right man, I did live a pretty good life also." I said smugly.
"Oh yeah? How come?"
I smirked. "Well... I won't be dying as a virgin like you, Cad."
Amid people crying, praying, panicking, and on death's door, us friends were laughing our final moments together.
And for some unknown reason, the Dragon seems to have stopped flying and flapping its wings. With its mass, the Dragon was about to fall at our school at an alarming speed.
Everyone soon froze and went quiet as they watch the falling Dragon above, soon to crush us. Then, everything slowly turned dark as the light slowly diminish. At that moment the last thing I heard was the sound of crumbling walls...
