Chapter 20 - Chapter 20

"Maybe she was trying to help us out because we had good intentions", Olive stated.

"Helping us my foot. I can't be fooled no more. There is more than we actually know. All this feels to me like an unsolicited help. And trust me, unsolicited help are traps and I wonder what she is up", I replied.

"What can she be possibly be up?".

"Never trust clingy puppets. They are the most deceitful. I felt something was off about her so I invited her for lunch to know if she would prove me wrong but she didn't".

"How!!?", Olive shouted in disbelief in her facial expression.

"Shush, we're in the library. Can't you see she's two-faced? And just like she cleverly stated, the evidence she handed us was a trap but I think the real evidence we need is in this USB drive. Give me your laptop, we don't have all day".

"Why should I?".

"Quick!?".

Olive handed me her laptop and I quickly booted it on and inserted the flash drive. Surprisingly, there was no password. I opened the files I found in the flash drive. It was shocking. There were shady articles of both Olive and Jane. I also found some sound recordings. I played the recordings and Olive and I looked at each other with wide eyes. The recording:

Tiffany: I heard Olive mentioning something about exposing your ugly secrets on her next publication so that you will be kicked out of the club.

Jane: She actually said that?

Tiffany: Yes, I heard her. I eavesdropped in her conversation with Rosette.

Jane: War it is then and I will make I get the last laugh.

Tiffany: I could help with that but I'm not carrying it out for you just get the necessary information.

Jane: Deal.

Tiffany: Here is the article I found in Olive's locker.

Jane: It is partially...her handwriting...but how could you get?

Tiffany: Does it matter?

Jane: I guess not. Wait a minute, is this Helena's dark story?

Tiffany: You are correct.

Jane: Very well then. She should get ready for as long as I know, she can never be president, never.

"Wow, wow, wowie, this is shocking", Olive exclaimed.

"We still need one more thing before we expose all this", I said.

"And what is that?"

"I just need to get Tiffany talking".

"And how are you gonna do that? That girl's witty".

"As long as we don't stream the video she sent us, we will get her talking".

"Let's see then".
