All looked at Edwina. Her distinct features were her identity. Her tan skin and her contrast white hair were enough for anyone to figure her out.
"With my dark skin and white hair, it must be clear to him, but it seemed like he was not paying any attention. Or maybe he never thought I would come back. Anyway, I think he was a moron," said Edwina, making people giggle again.
"You are right. With your skin and white hair, everyone should recognise who you are. How did he miss that?" asked Douglas.
"You will have to ask him, but he is dead now," said Edwina, sadly. She lowered her head unable to look in anyone's eyes.
"Tell us what happened after that," asked Douglas.
"He said that everyone was losing hope because I was not in my pack. He said that he was impressed with my bravery as I was trying to stop him. He thought I was a weak wolf who wouldn't be able to fight him. He then told me that he killed men," said Edwina.
