Chapter 177 - Chapter 176: The Whimsical Collision

With a whistling sound, the trash can from Belobog crashed onto the ground.

Inside, Pei Guang retracted the water into his storage space before poking his head out, glancing around to confirm no enemies were nearby.

"Let's see~ Stelle has already found Kafka's location, and everyone is heading there. Good, let's all meet up there."

Based on the direction of everyone's movements, it was clear that Kafka was their target. Although Pei Guang and Stelle hadn't explored the entire Aurum Alley map, they had covered most of it.

Unless Kafka left the area, she couldn't escape the minimap's marker.

What about the other enemies? Pei Guang instinctively chose to ignore them—as long as he moved fast enough, those monsters couldn't catch him.

"Time to hurry, let's go!"

Initially, Pei Guang intended to move seriously, but as he walked, he found it boring.

Usually, in group operations with Stelle and March 7th around, the conversations were lively. But now, one was on one end, and the others were elsewhere.

Should he teleport?

It was an option, but after glancing at the six-hour cooldown before his daily teleport reset, Pei Guang sighed. "Forget it, I'll run for now. If a fight breaks out, I'll teleport—not that it'll amount to much anyway."

Kafka's emphasis on coming to this specific location made Pei Guang feel uneasy. He also noticed that she was intentionally moving towards the area between him and Stelle. At this rate, either he or Stelle would encounter her first, so overall, it wasn't a concern.

Traveling alone gave Pei Guang a unique feeling, as though the ground beneath him was a bit hot. Previously, for the sake of group coordination, he had stuck to walking. Now, alone, Pei Guang felt free to express himself.

He started by walking normally, then broke into a run, and soon… he was jumping.

Look at Pei Guang, sprinting at full speed. After running several meters, he leapt into the air, placing his right hand by his head and lifting his right leg.

Upon landing, he tapped the ground quickly and propelled himself upward, his body forming a C shape in the air. At first, Pei Guang adjusted to the rhythm, but once he found it, he began jumping continuously, his body swaying as if knocking on a door.

He shook and bounced with increasing intensity, performing a dance no one could understand—whether it was a sudden burst of creativity or a dance from another world.

After a while, Pei Guang felt unsatisfied and increased the difficulty. Upon landing, he wobbled his body side to side, and in mid-air, he shifted up and down.

If anyone had been present in the area, they would have been terrified by Pei Guang's erratic movements. While normal humans could technically attempt these actions, none could replicate Pei Guang's accelerating speed.

And so, Pei Guang moved swiftly through Aurum Alley.

As he kept leaping, Pei Guang closed his eyes. With the mini-map, he could navigate accurately, easily avoiding any enemies.

He spun, jumped and rotated with closed eyes.

Without companions, Pei Guang sought his own joy, and right now, he felt elated.

While Pei Guang sped along, Master Diviner Fu Xuan maintained a serious expression as she advanced. She knew Aurum Alley well—turn left, then right, follow the alleyway, pass a closed gate, walk up a few flights of stairs, and peering down would reveal Kafka.

However, as Fu Xuan progressed, she heard an unusual sound behind her.

"Hmm? What is that?"

Instinctively turning her head, she spotted a man far in the distance moving with bizarre actions and poses. Though he was quite far off, Fu Xuan's curiosity was piqued.

But by the time she fully turned to look, Pei Guang was already very close.

Before Fu Xuan could react or activate her foresight, Pei Guang's body collided with hers—sending her flying.

Yes, Master Diviner Fu Xuan, who had instinctively turned to check on the sound and tried to dodge, was sent flying by Pei Guang's collision!

As Pei Guang leaped, he suddenly felt himself collide with something.

It felt like his head had hit a steel plate, leaving his face sore. Instinctively, he opened his eyes and saw a young girl with long pink hair and white tights flying through the air.

And fly she did—high, far, and with an impressive elegance.

Fu Xuan spun mid-air like a mermaid swimming gracefully through water, but the beauty of the moment didn't last. She crashed into a wall, leaving an imprint of herself before coming to an abrupt stop.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch…"

Clutching her chest, Fu Xuan struggled to catch her breath. Thankfully, the impact had been cushioned by her chest: otherwise, she feared the little bit of padding from years of indulgence would have been obliterated.

Fu Xuan stood up and glared at Pei Guang. "Do you even watch where you're going?"

Pei Guang responded, "I did watch where I was going…"

Fu Xuan raised an eyebrow. "If you were watching, how did you crash into me?"

Pei Guang shrugged. "Watching the road doesn't mean watching for people."

Fu Xuan: "…"

At that moment, Fu Xuan wasn't sure if she was angrier from the collision or his response. Her chest felt tight with frustration. Who manages to look at the road but still run into people? And why jump around in such bizarre poses instead of just walking?

Pei Guang offered, "Are you hurt anywhere? Need me to rub some ointment on you?"

Fu Xuan's eyes widened. "You—"

Before she could finish, Pei Guang interrupted, "But if it's a private area, forget it. I'm apologizing for walking without looking and jumping around recklessly, but if I get the chance, I'll jump like this again."

Fu Xuan: "You! I—!!!"

Rarely in her life had Fu Xuan been this infuriated.

Then a realization hit her: why did this voice sound familiar?

Pei Guang, noticing that Fu Xuan's expression hadn't changed and her breathing was steady, asked, "Are you okay? If you're hurt, I can take you to a safe place. If not, I'll be on my way. Just follow this path; there aren't any monsters, so it's safe."

Hearing Pei Guang's words, Fu Xuan finally remembered whose voice this was. "Are you the Trailblazer, Pei Guang, from the Astral Express?"
