Chapter 75 - Chapter 74: Youthful Energy!

"Data recorded, and backed up multiple times. Log code: Outsiders' Bizarre Behavior 2."

How Pei Guang and his group went from discussing serious matters—Bronya, the successor to the Supreme Guardian, resolving to destroy the impostor controlled by the Stellaron, with her comrades ready to fight by her side—to suddenly dancing, and this particular dance...

Clara stood at the entrance, unsure whether to approach.

After a long time, she carefully stepped forward. "Mr. Svarog, what are they...?"

Svarog, after calculating for several seconds, answered seriously, "Incomprehensible behavior. Unable to calculate the reason for the dancing. Data recorded. Clara, please ignore the outsiders' strange actions."

"Understood!"

Clara nodded vigorously, deciding to ignore the five of them and focus on Svarog instead.

"Too scary, way too scary..."

Clara had only met Pei Guang face-to-face twice, and both times he had given her an extremely dangerous vibe. The first time, three sentences were enough to make Svarog bow his head. The second time, here he was, hopping around like some kind of ritual.

Pei Guang and his group finally ended their fun when Stelle got bored and put the bat away. Afterward, March 7th rushed over to retrieve the camera she had set to record.

"Hehe~ I'm experienced now. I got the whole thing on video~"

Seele and Stelle both leaned in to take a look.

Stelle: "Nice! Look at that, I really nailed the essence of the dance."

Seele: "Hmph, mine's not bad either. But with Bronya just standing there, it feels like something's off in the video."

March 7th, after watching the recording on the camera, nodded in satisfaction. "Not bad, not bad! Such a beautiful moment has to be shared with Dan Heng! Even though he didn't come with us, we can still let him experience our fun~"

Pei Guang: "I think that's a great idea. Let's also send a copy to Himeko and Mr. Yang. After all, we're a team now!"

Stelle: "Exactly!!!"

As for sending out the video, Seele didn't mind. They'd already done it, so why would they care who saw it? Besides, did they do anything they were ashamed of?

Their phones didn't need signals for short-range communication. As long as they were within a certain distance, it functioned like a local network, making sending and receiving things easy.

Thus, Dan Heng, who was relaxing in a restaurant, sipping warm water and enjoying a rare moment of peace, received a message from March 7th.

"Huh? A message from March?"

Feeling his phone vibrate, Dan Heng picked it up and saw that March 7th had sent him a video. Instinctively, he put his cup down on the table.

When he opened the video, Dan Heng fell into deep thought.

One person standing in the front, four people dancing behind them—what a scene.

Cough cough, "It does have some amusing elements. Too bad I wasn't there to see it live... Hmm…"

Dan Heng wasn't the only one who received the video. In their group chat, March 7th also sent the video to Himeko and Yang, so they could experience the joy of the moment as well.

On the train, Himeko, who was busy organizing files, saw the notification in the group chat.

"Hm? Something fun from little March? A video?"

Welt, sitting nearby with a serious expression, said, "I've already watched it. It's... quite amusing."

Himeko responded, "Oh? Amusing? Let me s—pfft!"

Because of Welt's serious tone, Himeko subconsciously expected the video to be normal. She was sipping her coffee, trying to relax a little, but when she saw the video—four people dancing around a bat while one person stood in front, mumbling—she couldn't hold it in.

"Pfft, hahaha! Young people sure are energetic. This is hilarious! I really can't wait to join them and see what it's like."

Himeko wiped the coffee from the corner of her mouth, a smile on her face. Welt also smiled. "Yes, though I wonder what Dan Heng's expression is right now."

Himeko thought for a moment. "Hmm, probably a mix of frustration and helplessness."

Welt shook his head. "I wouldn't be so sure. Pei Guang has a way of rubbing off on people. He might be enjoying it more than we think."

Himeko nodded. "You might be right."

The video wasn't that long, a little over four minutes. Even though the actions repeated, the beat of the music and the strange, rhythmic dance moves of the three were enough to make her laugh every time she watched it.

As she continued watching, Himeko opened another video of Pei Guang and the group's highlights. She started playing both videos together in a loop, turning the mundane train ride into a source of amusement for her and Welt.

Both of them began looking forward to working with this lively group: it would definitely be fun.

After sending the video to the train crew, March 7th turned to Pei Guang and Stelle. "All done~ I've sent it to Dan Heng, Himeko, and Uncle Yang. I also uploaded it to the group, so you can watch it whenever you want."

Pei Guang said enthusiastically, "Alright, let's get back to work! We've still got plenty of time today, and so many houses to loot—I can't wait!"

March 7th, putting the camera away, chimed in, "I know, right? Ever since I learned how to scavenge houses, I get super anxious thinking about all the loot waiting for us!"

At first, gathering everything from useful items to junk from a house had felt a bit awkward, but after a while, she started to enjoy it.

Stelle didn't say much, but by pulling out her bat, she made her stance clear.

Pei Guang said, "Alright, let's continue looting! Oh, Svarog and little Clara, if you have any issues with the robots we sent, just contact me."

Just as Pei Guang was about to leave, Clara nervously asked, "Uhm, how are Mr. Svarog and I supposed to contact you?"

"Wait… you don't have phones?"

Hearing this, March 7th knocked on Pei Guang's head. "You idiot, of course they don't! They haven't had any contact with the outside world in all those years. How would they have new devices?"

Pei Guang replied confidently, "That's no problem—I've got it covered!"

Pulling out four phones, Pei Guang proudly showed them off. March 7th, curious, asked, "When did you steal those?"

Pei Guang, with a righteous tone, said, "Steal? No way! These were a gift from Asta after I helped her upgrade her tech. She gave me plenty of gadgets, actually~"

As he spoke, Pei Guang opened a large box. March 7th was stunned. The box was packed with various electronic devices.

Pei Guang continued reminiscing, "The station chief asked me what I wanted at the time, so I asked for some useful electronics. Oh! Right, I was planning to use these to make some friends, but I totally forgot!"

Pei Guang, thinking about the interstellar setting, decided to bring along some advanced gadgets and trinkets, planning to gift them to pretty girls he met to increase his likability. However, after getting them, he quickly forgot about it since this planet had absolutely nothing to do with the interstellar background.

Pei Guang not only gave a phone to Svarog and Clara, but also handed one each to Seele and Bronya: "Here, take these! Special gifts from the universe—one for each of you! Taking my gifts means your affection towards me has to go up, okay?"

Seele accepted the phone and curiously asked, "What is this?"

Pei Guang replied, "It's a phone—super advanced technology. Long battery life, and it's indestructible, even if you toss it into space. According to Asta, these are limited edition. Have fun with it! Oh, and it can even change its case color and design based on your preferences. You can figure it out as you go."

And so, Seele and Bronya both received a phone. Once they powered it on, the built-in tutorial quickly taught them how to use it. The technology was so advanced that they didn't need to read any text—the phone simply scanned their brainwaves and activated whatever function they wanted to use.

The phone could also adjust to the user's habits—whether they preferred touchscreens, physical buttons, or even hands-free operation using only their thoughts.

Curious about the new gadget, Seele and the others began exploring its features. Meanwhile, Pei Guang looked at Clara and said, "Little one, if you ever need a task completed, just come find me. But make sure the rewards for the mission aren't too shabby, okay?"

Clara looked puzzled. "A mission? Rewards? I understand what those words mean, but combined with Pei Guang's description, I'm not sure I get it."

Seeing Clara's confusion, March 7th leaned in and explained, "It just means that if you run into any trouble, you can use this to contact Pei Guang. As long as you're on this planet, or near it, Pei Guang will come to help you. But in exchange, you need to prepare some kind of reward."

Clara, lowering her head, said, "Big sis, I don't have any money or supplies…"

March 7th patted Clara's head. "You don't need money! You can give him something else, like sing him a song or teach him something he doesn't know. He's a big softie, really."

Clara, lifting her head, asked nervously, "I only know some mechanical knowledge. Would that be okay?"

March 7th nodded. "Of course!"

Clara then said, "Uncle is a good person!"

Hearing that, March 7th whispered, "Why do you call him Uncle? He doesn't look that old, does he?"

Clara whispered back, "Because Uncle looks scary. The first time we met Mr. Svarog, he tried to take him away. Hook said only mature adults are scary."

March 7th said, "Hmm… well, I guess you're not wrong. Sometimes he does say some scary things. But don't call him Uncle! You call me Big Sis, so calling him Uncle feels weird…"

Clara nodded. "I understand now. He's Big Brother!"

Pei Guang had no reaction initially, but when Clara called him "Big Brother," he fell silent, glancing over at Clara and Svarog.

He walked over to Svarog and said, "Take care of this little girl. And... just call me Uncle. Please don't call me Big Brother anymore. I have PTSD from that."

Clara was confused, "Huh?"

March 7th, curious, chimed in, "What's wrong with being called Big Brother? It makes you sound younger."

"No no no no! I can't handle that kind of youthfulness. 'Uncle' is much better."

March 7th grumbled, "If you're an uncle, then that makes me an aunt…"

Pei Guang replied, "No problem. We can all stick to our own titles."
