Vanessa
A buzz of nervous energy crackled through the air as I entered the hotel the next morning. Paloma, who looked like she hadn't slept a wink, informed me of an emergency staff meeting called by Liam.
"What did you do last night?" I asked, with concern lacing my voice. "You look exhausted, did you sleep at all last night?"
Paloma let out a tired laugh. "Not quite. Anna kept me up till the crack of dawn."
My heart lurched, a primal fear gripping me for a moment, I immediately assumed something sexual happened between them. Then, relief washed over me as Paloma elaborated.
"Apparently, apart from the piano, she can play the guitar too," she explained. "We ended up writing songs for my album until four in the morning. Girl's a genius, Vanessa. She whipped some amazing lyrics literally out of thin air."
Relief washed over me. "An album? That's amazing! I didn't know you were working on one."
