Instantly arriving before the growling creature, Alex attempted to execute a flurry of fast-paced sword cuts all over the creature's body, starting from the head to the tail.

Out of nowhere, the void creature's tail appeared before Alex. It was incredibly fast and if Alex had not had incredible reflexes, he would have been swatted away like the ant he looked like.
Alex acted fast, broke his momentum and positioned his sword vertically over his hand. There was no room for dodging the tail sweep as it was as large as a small continent.
