Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 : Fight I

*Slap*

"Demi!!!"

Amaya's hand connected with Demi's cheek with a sickening thud. I lunged forward, my blood boiling, and interposed myself between them.

"Amaya, are you out of your mind!?!?" I screamed, my voice trembling with rage and fear.

Amaya's eyes were bloodshot and wild. Her hands shook as she gritted her teeth. "Zeya, get out of my way!"

I stood my ground, my legs trembling beneath me. "Zeya, please," Demi whispered, her voice barely audible. "You'll get hurt."

I glanced at her, my heart aching at the sight of the fresh red mark on her cheek. "Demi..." Tears welled up in my eyes.

"Yeah, listen to your dear wifey and get out of here, Zeya!" Amaya sneered, her voice dripping with venom.

I swallowed hard, mustering every ounce of courage I had. I reached out and took Demi's hand, my own trembling. "Amaya, Demi isn't wrong," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "She just repeated what you said, didn't she?"

Amaya's gaze snapped to me, disbelief and betrayal etched on her face. "Zeya, you think I'm wrong?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"Aren't you?" I asked, my voice steady despite the turmoil raging within me.

We stared at each other, the air thick with tension. And then, I heard it—the sound of Amaya's heart shattering into a million pieces.

Tears filled her eyes yet she refused to let them fall. She took a step back, turned, and walked away, her knuckles turning white. Her eyes held a dangerous glint.

My legs gave way beneath me, and I collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down my own face. I'm sorry, Ama, I whispered to myself. I'm so sorry…

Few hours ago

"Oh no! I forgot my PT dress!" I saw Somiya, searching her dress restlessly in her locker. I shook my head, finding it funny. She had clearly announced last week that she was taking her dress to wash up, yet now she couldn't remember it.

"Dear wife, are you on a diet?" My whole body shivered when Demi whispered it in my ears. I glared at her. "I told you to stop calling me that in school and don't whisper! It feels like ants are crawling all over my skin." I slapped Demi in the arm and put my dress in the locker. It had been two or three days since Demi had started calling me her wife in school.

Somiya sat on the floor like a beached whale, staring at us like we were a couple of circus clowns. I locked my locker and raised my eyebrows at her. She placed her hand on her cheeks and narrowed her eyes, asking suspiciously, "Are you two in a relationship?"

Demi put her hand on my waist and rested her head on my shoulder, with an evil smirk she asked back, "What if we're in? Are you the homophobic police?" After sitting there for like one minute in a potty position, Somiya said, "I think it's my due to give birth to my potty." Demi kicked her, sending her tumbling to the ground like a bowling pin. She screamed, "Get lost, you walking disaster!"

"Ow ow ow! You almost set my due date of potty for next week." Somiya said, clutching her butt, making Demi's face turn as red as a tomato.

"Pfft-hahaha hahahaha!!!!!"

We heard a loud, hysterical crackle coming from the doorway, and there stood Sophia and Elli, doubled over in laughter. They were hitting the wall and floor like a couple of possessed banshees, tears streaming down their faces. "Somi! Hahahaha! Due date of potty! Hahahahaha!" they shrieked, as if they were high on laughing gas.

"Why are you guys here now?" Demi asked. It was our class PT (Physical Training) time, and these two were acting like they'd lost their minds.

Sophia and Elli took a deep breath to calm down and sat on the bench, wiping away their tears. "Ruby ma'am was out sick, so Hailey ma'am asked us to join your class for PT." Sophia explained, her voice still slightly breathless.

Demi gave me a little nudge from behind, and I glanced at her. She still doesn't want to be close with them. I smiled at Sophia and Elli. "Okay, we'll go ahead," I said, walking towards the door with Demi.

"Aren't you going?" Sophia asked Somiya, who was sprawled out on the ground like a lazy cat. "Does it bother you if I stay here?" She asked with a yawn. "No, not at all." Sophia and Elli shook their heads.

Somiya sighed, a look of disappointment crossing her face. "I forgot my PT dress. I can't go out there like this."

Elli and Sophia exchanged a knowing glance. Then, like a flash, Elli was up and out the door, leaving Somiya alone in the changing room.

"Where is she going?" Somiya asked.

"To meet with Ama," Sophia said. "Will my size fit you?"

Sophia stood up from the bench and walked towards her locker. Somiya leaned on the locker and gazed up and down, checking out Sophia's body. "Yeah, your body and my body will fit perfectly," she said, her eyes twinkling.

Hmm?

Both of them stared at each other. Sophia raised her eyebrows while Somiya's face turned crimson. "I-I-I d-didn't mean it that way… I swear!" Somiya shouted, raising three fingers in the air.

Sophia bit her lips, trying to stop from laughing at Somiya. She shook her head with a smile and handed her dress to Somiya. "I know you didn't mean it in that way. Here, try my dress."

Somiya nodded her head, embarrassed. She didn't see Sophia's eyes as she took the dress. "Thank you…" she muttered.

Somiya unbuttoned her shirt and took it off, revealing her smooth, milky skin. Sophia's eyes widened in surprise, and she couldn't help but lick her lips.

"Somi... are you the princess of your family?" Sophia asked, her voice husky.

Somiya didn't understand what Sophia meant, and she glanced at her in confusion. But then she saw Sophia's gaze fixed on her waist, and she realised what Sophia was talking about.

Somiya's face flushed red, and she quickly covered her body with her hands. "Don't stare like I'm some candy!" she exclaimed, glaring at Sophia like a little kitten. "It feels weird to be checked out by a girl!"

Sophia raised her eyebrows and chuckled, "You should be glad it's me over here. If it was Amaya, she would have let her intrusive thoughts win and touched all over your body!"

"Wow!" Both of them turned around to see Amaya standing in the door, her eyes captivated by Somiya's body like a moth to a flame. "Speak of the devil, and she shall appear." Sophia whispered, taking a deep sigh. Elli and Amaya made their way inside.

"Wow, cutie~ Your skin is smoother than a butter~" Amaya bent her body and slid her hand along Somiya's body. Somiya shivered under Amaya's touch like a leaf in the wind.

"Stop it!"

"Ouch!" Somiya slapped Amaya's hand away and covered her body, narrowing her eyes at Amaya. "Whether it's smooth like butter or creamy like cheese, it's not on the menu for you."

Amaya raised her eyebrows and licked her lips, closing the distance between her and Somiya like a hungry wolf stalking its prey. "W-what are you doing!?" Somiya panicked. Amaya smirked, her mischievous expression making Somiya doubt her intentions like a cat playing with a mouse. "What am I doing?" Amaya asked, cornering Somiya like a lioness cornering its cub. "Your skin is so smooth, my character is slipping in it like a skater on ice, Somi~." Amaya raised her chin and rubbed Somiya's lips with her thumb, then licked her own lip.

Elli and Sophia sat aside, their expressions full of enjoyment and amusement like two monkeys watching a puppet show.

"Cutie, you're in luck," Amaya whispered, her voice like a siren's call, sending shivers down Somiya's spine. Her heart pounded like a drum in her chest, a thousand beats per minute. "I'm not a big fan of butter."

Amaya's grip loosened as she released Somiya, her expression transforming from one of allure to utter boredom. She shook her head, her raven curls dancing around her shoulders. "Ugh, butter. It's like the Kryptonite of culinary."

Confusion washed over Somiya as she glanced at Elli and Sophia, who were trying their best not to burst into laughter. It dawned on her: she had been pranked!

"AMAYA!" Somiya shouted, her voice a mix of laughter and frustration. She chased Amaya around the room, wearing nothing but a bra.

"Help! I'm being chased by a bra-wearing maniac!" Amaya cried, her voice full of mock terror. She dodged Somiya's clumsy attempts to tackle her, her laughter echoing through the room like a chorus of giggling pixies.

As Somiya chased Amaya around the room, her bare skin shimmered in the dim light, casting an ethereal glow on the scene. To help Somiya to catch Amaya, Elli and Sophia joined in the fun, turning the room into a whirlwind of laughter and chaos. Suddenly, Amaya tripped and fell, with Somiya landing on top of her.

They both burst into laughter, "Well, well, well," Somiya gasped between giggles. "The hunter became the hunted!" Everyone laughed while I clenched my fist, my tears threatening to spill, seeing her close with someone else. I took a step back and walked away.

"Here, thank you for your dress. We don't need it anymore." I handed over the PT dress to a girl with whom I borrowed for Somiya.
