Chapter 3 - Chapter 003- The big turnaround?

Nora's perspective.

As soon as we got into the room, I took dropped my bag and start to unbutton him, but he held my band back,

"I do the job instead, just watch me as I glorify your body" he said. I could swear on my late's parents ' lives that those words made my stomach sing happy songs.

He began slowly by kissing me slowly as his hands roamed all over my body. He was just so good like he said, he kissed, suked my lips at the same time his hands worked wonders all over my body.

Slowly he removed my clothes while I was in anticipation.

"Do you have a condom?" I asked in between my breath, but he just smiled and licked my pants. I let him pull them down and he just went for it, diving into my pussy head first. He started gently licking my clit and I felt his enthusiasm as his licking and kisses got more intense and he groaned with pleasure, I think definitely because of my bodily response and my moans as well.

"Do you feel that?" he asked while I arched my back in response. I couldn't answer him because of how engrossed I am.. He then moved his tongue lower down and slid it in my vagina.

"You taste so good and you smell really good, mama" he said in between, I couldn't help but feel more confident with those words. Just like how his tongue worked wonders in my mouth, he licked and fingered me. He kept slowing

down and kissing my vagina and inner thighs, giving me tingles all over. Then he started back up again, licking like a mad man. When I was soaking wet from all the licking, he put two fingers in me and fucked me with them while he kept licking. It turned into 5 orgasms, because he didn't stop sucking my clit and I kept having them over and over.

Just when I thought he was over, I felt his huge manhood in me slowly, which made me scream. Before I regained myself, he went in slowly and out that I cussed in between my breaths.

"Faster" I groaned in frustration and with that he began banging me, it was the best i have ever had in my entire life.

........

As I stirred awake from a deep sleep, I felt a hand resting on my ass. I was ready to react, but then yesterday's events flooded my mind—from my bold proposal for a night with him to the incredible moments we shared. I felt a rush of excitement again, but I also scolded myself. How could I have been so daring when I was broke?

"How could I have done this with no cash to my name?" I thought, feeling a wave of panic. I quickly got dressed, grabbing my bag and shoes from the floor. Guilt washed over me, but I knew I had to make my escape while he was still asleep.

As I tiptoed toward the door, his voice stopped me in my tracks.

"Are you really trying to sneak out without settling up, little cat?" he teased. I wished the ground would just open up and swallow me whole; I was mortified by my own actions. What was I thinking?

His offer was not just jaw-dropping but also unexpected. I still couldn't believe I was now on a monthly allowance of 150,000. Sure, I was his wife, but this was about money, and I desperately needed it after Aiden and Glanna took everything from me. Glancing at the contract again, I noticed his name—Santiago Rodriguez—boldly printed.

"So, you're from Spain?" I asked as I signed the marriage contract.

"Yeah, my dad's from Spain, and my mom's American," he replied.

"Oh, got it," I said, still trying to wrap my head around everything.

At least this would help me save my company and get my life back on track, far away from Aiden and Glanna.

Honestly, I didn't want revenge, especially since they were my weak spots. I just hoped that life and karma would catch up with them in a way they'd never see coming.

"Can you hear me?" Santiago's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I shot back, completely lost.

"You looked like something was bothering you. You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just trying to wrap my head around everything," I said, not entirely truthful.

"Let's go to my place; the lawyer should be there waiting for us."

"Wait! What a lawyer for what?"

"Our wedding."

"What wedding?"

"Didn't you read the contract you just signed?"

"What?" I asked, glancing at the marriage papers.

"Check Section 4c, number 17."

"Ohhh, I had no clue," I mumbled. "Wait, you mean the lawyer is coming here?" I asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

"Yeah, he's a really good friend of mine," he answered.

Before long, we arrived at his house, which blew me away, but I kept my mouth shut, remembering what he said. It wasn't long before the lawyer showed up at the hotel, and just like that, I found myself married to the call guy whom I was supposed to have fun with just for the night..

......

It's been three weeks since we got married, and I can't shake this incredible sense of calm that I haven't felt in years, especially after losing my parents. Santiago is truly a gentleman; he treats me in ways I never thought I'd experience. Honestly, I barely got this level of care from Aiden. It's as if Santiago has a sixth sense for what I need, whether it's a comforting word after a long day or a gentle touch that reassures me I'm not alone anymore. The way he looks at me, with such warmth and respect, makes me feel cherished in a way I thought was lost to me forever.

Plus, I'm back in the business world, all thanks to Santiago's encouragement. After our wedding night—or should I say our business arrangement—I opened up to him completely. I shared my fears and aspirations, the dreams I had shelved after Aiden and Glanna took over my construction company. Santiago listened intently, his eyes never leaving mine, and promised to reconnect me with some friends in the industry. He really came through. They've been a massive help with my construction company, which I thought Aiden and Glanna had completely taken over. With their support, I've been able to reclaim my position and even expand my vision for the future. It feels exhilarating to be back in control, to feel the thrill of building something from the ground up again.

Lost in my thoughts, the loud ring of my phone jolted me back to reality. I looked at the screen and saw a strange number. I frowned, wondering who could be calling me at this hour. My heart raced slightly; it was late, and I wasn't expecting any calls.

"Hello, this is Nora Lawson. How can I help you?" I answered, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Nora, Nora, Nora, my dear," came a voice I recognized all too well, sending chills down my spine. It was a voice I had hoped never to hear again, a voice that brought back memories I'd rather forget. I was so shocked that I instinctively grabbed the hem of my shirt, as if it could shield me from the words that were about to come.

"What do you want?" I finally blurted out, cringing at how weak I sounded. My voice trembled slightly, betraying the storm of emotions swirling inside me. I wanted to scream at him, to unleash the frustration and anger that had been building up for so long, but it felt like an impossible task, as if the words were trapped in my throat, refusing to come out.

"Looks like your business is on the rise again, huh? I can't believe you snagged 70 shares in under a month—something I never thought you'd actually do," he said, and I could almost hear the smirk in his voice, the mocking tone that made my skin crawl. He added, "I'm really curious about that fool who made it all so easy for you, Nora. Just know, I'm coming for everything, every single thing you have, Nora Lawson." The menace in his voice was unmistakable, and it sent a wave of dread coursing through me. With that, he hung up, leaving me standing there, shocked, as if I'd just seen a ghost, the reality of his threat sinking in like a heavy stone in my stomach.

Honestly, he was like a ghost—just a human shell. I never expected to hear from him again, especially after he wrecked my life. What could he possibly want now?

"Hey, what's up, mama?" Santiago's voice snapped me back to reality.

"I thought you were going to grab a glass of water. Why do you look like you've seen a ghost? What's going on?" he asked, peering at me like he was trying to read my mind.

"Uh, nothing. Just lost in thought, that's all," I fibbed, trying to brush it off. I didn't want to burden him with my problems. How would it sound to say my ex-husband just called to threaten me?

"You sure about that?" he pressed, his gaze still suspicious.

"Yep," I replied, forcing a smile.

"My grandfather just called. He wants us to go to a family meeting in a week," he said, looking anxious.

"Is there an issue with that?" I asked, curious about the worried expression on his face.

"I just realized that the whole family is coming over, like everyone. They want to meet you, my new wife," he replied.

"That's great! We'll be there to cheer up grandpa, even if it's just for a little while," I said, recalling the agreement we made.

"Are you really okay with us going?" he asked, clearly surprised.

"Yeah, I'm fine with it," I said, meeting his gaze and wondering why he seemed so shocked. Isn't that what I'm supposed to do?

"Thanks, Nora," he said, giving me a gentle kiss on the forehead.
