The dimly lit room was silent except for the faint hum of the computer in front of Augustin. His fingers danced across the keyboard, typing in rapid succession as streams of data flashed on the screen. He was focused, brows furrowed in concentration, eyes locked on the monitor.

Leclair, sitting in his wheelchair beside him, watched with a keen eye. His face was calm, but there was a sharp intensity in his gaze as he studied Augustin's every move.

"How much longer?" Leclair's voice cut through the quiet, low and measured.

Augustin, without taking his eyes off the screen, replied, "Just a few more minutes. Whoever this guy is, he's good at covering his tracks."

Leclair nodded thoughtfully, his hands clasped together in his lap. "He'd have to be, given the mess he walked into. Saving Adrian like that… no one does something like that without a motive."
