Chapter One: The Beginning of the Journey
Morning had gently dawned on the Blanco farm, where Lucio and his sister Ron lived. Wildflowers bloomed on the edges of the fields, and birds sang in sweet tones that filled the air with life. But this morning was unlike any other, it was a day of change.
Lucio, a nineteen-year-old, stood in front of the window of the small hut where he had lived with his sister since the death of their parents. His eyes were looking at the horizon with a new determination. A month ago, he had made a fateful decision: to sell the farm and buy him daggers and magic wands for Ron. It wasn't an easy decision, but the sense of responsibility and the need to protect his sister and the search for a new adventure in the magical world was pushing him forward.
Fourteen-year-old Renn was holding her new magic wand, gently groping for it as if holding an invaluable treasure in her hands. Her eyes radiated enthusiasm and a desire to discover the outside world, and she fully trusted in the abilities of her brother, who always protected and loved her unconditionally.
Ron asked in an excited voice, "Are you ready, Lucio?"
Lucio smiled and replied, "Yes, sister. It's time to leave this place and begin our journey into the magical world. We will face powerful creatures and discover secrets that no one would have known before."
The two set off on their journey, leaving behind the farm that was once their safe home. The road ahead was unknown, full of risks and challenges, but they were determined to succeed. The daggers were ready in Lucio's belt, while Ron held her magic wand firmly, looking to the future with courage.
Thus, Lucio and Ron began their adventure, in a world full of powerful magical creatures and mysterious secrets. Lucio was neither a strong hero nor a great magician, but he had a brave heart and unrelenting determination, which was what he needed to become a true hero.
As the day progressed, details of the magical path began to unfold in front of Lucio and Ron. The road was surrounded by giant trees with cloud-touched edges, and flowers in colors no one had ever seen before. As the steps accelerated, strange sounds emanated from every angle, as if nature itself was talking to them.
After hours of walking, they decided to stop at a small river to drink and rest a little. Lucio sat on the riverbank, holding his dagger that shimmered in the sunlight, while Ron tried to explore the powers of her magic wand, casting small spells to do simple things like moving rocks or making flowers bloom.
"Brother, do you think we're going to find something special here?" asked Ron, looking curiously at the flowing water.
"I'm sure of that, Ron. This world is full of secrets and wondrous creatures. We just have to be careful and always prepared," Lucio replied with a reassuring smile.
As they spoke, they suddenly heard a rattle between the trees. Lucio got up quickly, clutching his dagger cautiously, while Ron was prepared with a defensive spell.
Lucio called out in a loud voice, "Who's there?"
From among the trees appeared a strange creature, which looks like a mixture between deer and man, with large, shiny eyes.
"You're new here, aren't you?
Lucio told their story.
As dawn broke the next day, the three of them prepared to continue their journey. Ilara had told them about a magical village not far from where they were, where they could get supplies and important information about the area.
They took a narrow path among the trees, and Ilara was expertly leading them. They crossed a wooden bridge suspended over a deep ravine, where water flowed in a quiet melody. After hours of walking, the magic village began to appear in front of them.
The village was surrounded by a high wooden wall, and its gate was decorated with mysterious symbols. As they approached, they were greeted by a guard wearing a sparkling armor.
The guard asked firmly, "Who are you and what do you want here?"
Ilara replied: "These are my friends, they are on a journey to explore the magical world. We need shelter and some supplies."
The guard meditated on Lucio and Ron for a few moments before opening the gate. "Please come in. You'll find the help you need here."
Within the village, life was booming. Children play, craftsmen work skillfully, and fortunetellers predict the future of the village. Lucio and Ron were fascinated by this new world. Ilara led them to a small market, where they were able to buy food, drink and some tools they might need.
As they walked around, they noticed a large gathering in the middle of the square. They went to find out why, and found an elderly man giving a speech with enthusiasm.
The elderly man said, "We are tired of the creature that lives in the Black Forest. He attacks our village and steals our supplies. We must find a solution!"
Lucio approached the man and asked him: "What kind of creature is this? How can we help you?"
The man looked at Lucio with eyes filled with hope. "It's a huge creature, with sharp fangs and eyes shining in the dark. If you are ready to help, it will have a big impact on the village."
Lucio firmly agreed, and expressed his willingness to confront the creature. But Ron wasn't sure yet. "Lucio, we're still new here. Maybe we should be more careful."
Lucio replied with a smile: "Ron, we know we don't have a lot of experience, but we won't learn if we don't face the challenges. You will always be by my side, and together we are stronger."
Ron was moved by her brother's words and reluctantly agreed. The elderly man asked a local hunter to accompany them to the Black Forest, where the creature resides. The group set off into the forest as evening fell, excitement and fear seeping into their hearts.
It got darker as they went deeper into the forest, and the sounds of nocturnal animals filled the air. They stopped at the edge of a small lake, where they saw traces of the creature on the ground.
"That's where the real danger begins," said the hunter in a low voice.
Lucio, Ron and Ilara prepared for the confrontation, relying on their courage and the strength of their friendship. As they moved slowly and cautiously, they suddenly heard a terrifying roar, and the shadows of the huge creature appeared before them.
Lucio's heartbeat quickened, but he held on to his dagger steadily, and Ron stood behind him ready with her magic wand. This was the moment when they would test their courage and ability to survive.
Lucio said in a confident voice, looking at the creature with defiant eyes, "Now, we'll see if we're really ready for this world."
