That night didn't work and it bothered me but today I was definitely going to speak with her… just to hear her side of the story.
It was currently 10:17 AM and I had just arrived at CARL.
Stepping inside, I was taken up by the bodyguards and before I could go see if Arleen or Clifford were around, I went to Leah's office to see if she was there.
With what happened would she be able to come to work? I wondered while praying she did.
As I went to her office, I knocked lightly against the door and waited for her response.
When none came, I knocked again…
"Percy?"
At the call of my name, I looked to my right and stood still as I found Leah all dressed and looking sharp like nothing had happened yesterday.
"Leah," I softly called and went to meet her.
"I heard you didn't go home, which is a relief." I said while observing her and she nodded.
