Feeling overwhelmed, I staggered to a nearby chair and plopped myself onto it as I stared at him in awe.
"How? How do you know all this? How?" I just couldn't understand anymore.
Coming to sit close to me, he explained.
"Mr and Mrs Edson helped me out and in order to back their findings, they said they went to a certain Mr and Mrs Jones to confirm which they did."
At the mention of Jones, Damion's parents, every working cell in my body seemed to have stopped functioning.
How much did they hide from me? How much did they lie?
How much did they take from me?
It was at this point tears of anger escaped my eyes as I glared into space.
"I can't believe they lied to me that my younger brother died. I was the one who named him Percy and I really loved him," I reminisced.
