I felt like my eyes could create holes in Damion's head as I kept glaring at him in silence.
Our lawyers were present and so was the person in charge of our Shares and Finances. Reuben took it upon himself to speak on my behalf, after all he was my partner.
"It was stated in the contract that that part of the company would be given to him if he did the needful which he didn't and he even breached the contract." Our lawyer firmly said.
"How did he breach the contract? Care to elaborate?" Damion's lawyer calmly inquired.
"Here," our lawyer pushed an open file to him on the table.
"From the look of things, it seemed like Mr Damion here was taking Miss Beverley for granted due to the fact that they were in a relationship back then. He never fully did what was asked of him to be able to get those shares." Our lawyer further said.
