Aurora's phone rang, cutting through the heavy silence of the hospital room.
It was Derek.
She answered swiftly, her voice sharp with anticipation.
"Did you find the car?" Aurora asked, already standing and gathering her things to leave.
"I tracked the plate number," Derek replied, his voice steady. "The car's current location is within Grey Pack territory... precisely at Alpha Grey's mansion."
Aurora froze, her hand tightening around the phone.
"What?" Her mind raced.
Alpha Grey? Her heart pounded harder, but she forced herself to stay calm.
"Yes," Derek confirmed. "That's where it's parked now."
Aurora's grip on the phone faltered slightly, her thoughts tumbling over one another. She glanced back at the security screen, still paused on the footage.
"I'll handle it from here, Derek." She ended the call abruptly, her focus now razor sharp.
