Aurora slowly opened her eyes, blinking away the grogginess.
As her vision cleared, she noticed Ava sitting beside her.
Ava's face lit up with a gentle smile.
"You're awake," Ava said softly.
Aurora nodded and slowly sat up, her body still aching from the delivery.
Ava quickly moved to assist her, adjusting the pillows behind Aurora's back for support.
"Thank you," Aurora murmured.
Ava then carefully lifted the baby girl from the crib nearby, placing the tiny bundle into Aurora's arms.
"She's beautiful," Ava whispered, her eyes softening. "She looks just like Sir Lucas."
Aurora's gaze fell upon her daughter, and her heart melted.
The baby had delicate features, her cheeks rosy and soft, with a tiny tuft of dark hair atop her head.
But it was the baby's eyes that caught Aurora's breath—those piercing blue eyes, the same vivid blue that Lucas had.
