The sacred site was enveloped in silence, a heavy atmosphere hanging over the gathering.

Alpha Grey's wrists were bound with silver cuffs, his smirk firm as he was escorted toward the center of the ancient room.

He looked around with a glint of confidence, inwardly thinking that this wouldn't be the first time he'd walked away from here with little more than a slap on the wrist.

"This time would be no different," he told himself, already planning his return—and the final elimination of Leo.

As he was led forward, he spotted Aurora.

She stood quietly among the gathering, her face set in a stony mask.

The sight of her made his smirk widen, but when her gaze met his, she looked away, her jaw clenched.

Alpha Grey's eyes roamed the room until they landed on Lucas, who sat in a wheelchair.

For a moment, the sight surprised him; he hadn't expected Lucas to be here, much less in that condition.

But he quickly shrugged it off.
