"Now, I don't know how Vince Rosen can save himself," Lily said with a poker face.
She stood in front of the duel stage, not far from the judges. Kayena and Ace were beside her.
"He's dormant, while that Finschley kid has a magic affinity for steel creation. It's only a sixth-grade affinity, but he still has the upper hand."
Ace nodded, crossing his arms over his chest.
"You're right, Lily. I find the odds of Vince winning this duel rather low."
"Maybe he'll surprise us again," Kayena said in her sweet, little voice. "Didn't he manage to pass the Blood Trial? He went up against the Vice-captain and met the conditions of the trial, which no one expected him to do."
"Obviously, that was because the Vice-captain barely did anything during the duel. He didn't even show 20% of his strength," Lily said.
